This is the last game of yet again a disappointing season. I really thought this would be our year. I am a 34 year old fan living in New York and I want to know when is it going to be our time. When are we all going to feel what these other fans take for granted every year?

In the last 26 years of enjoying football I have seen us go to and lose 2 super bowls, had a great time watching Dan lead our offense, and have been sick to my stomach for the last decade. Our team has become the joke of the NFL. When I was growing up it was always fun to play teams like the bengals and cardinals. We have now become one of those teams.

Do you all believe that for most of the last decade our team has been led by Jay Fiedler, Damon Huard, Ray Lucas, Sage Rosenfels, Brian Griese, A.J. Feeley and Gus Frerotte. Find me another team that has had a worse group of quarterbacks than list list.

Oh well, we go into another offseason with the hope that we can find the right players to make it all better. I just want to know when.

Since 1998 our drafts have been a joke! You would think that we could of found more talent using a ouija board. I highlighted the good picks in red. Notice there is not much red!!!!!!!!

Wow. I can't beleive how bad those drafts have been, everywhere. The OL picks were horrible, the LB picks were horrible, the RB picks, the DB's, I can't find one area where we've solidified ourself over that span. I thought teams were suppose to take advantage of the draft, not waste it. Looking at ours, we certainly haven't done very well with the choices we made.....

PHINZ RULE!!!!

Seems like just yesterday we were just waiting for the season to start and in a few hours it will be over for us. I really can't believe we haven't been in the postseason for 5 years now.

On a side note, look what coach Saban had to take over and some people still want his head.

The way I see it, maybe it's better we don't have draft picks. It seems the fins have a terrible record in picking players.

I thought Morlon Greenwood was alright. Travis Daniels has been playing good for a 4th rounder, imo...

Kinda depressing when we had Wanny picking our future players. We have had the odd great draft tho. Marco Coleman and Troy Vincent yr was a great draft year.

and the offseason isn't looking too rosey either..."Do a cataloging of the AFC East and the Dolphins are behind by every measure, every team in the AFC East is set at the quarterback position with a young guy entering his prime. Every team, their star players are younger than theirs. Every team is better in terms of draft picks and they are in better shape, salary cap-wise. And the Dolphins are in fourth place in the division. They have loads of work to do. Anybody that doesn't see that is not looking at the same picture I am." - Jim Mandich -

Gotta agree with the Manster.

Mixon and Brommell were both decent players for us in our rotation. They failed when they took the big money and went elsewhere.

Jermaine Haley started a few games and was also alright in our rotation, not bad for a 7th rounder.

Todd Wade was a productive starter for us who got ridiculously overpaid by the Texans.

The '01 draft was the horror show. Picking Jamar Fletcher made ZERO sense at the time and even less now. Why the hell do you pick a corner when you have two Pro Bowl corners in their prime and signed? That was the Drew Brees spot (I was screaming for him to be the guy at that spot this is not hindsight). I lost my mind when we took Fletcher, bouncing my remote off the wall.

'02 was a lost draft essentially because of the over payment for Ricky Williams.

'03 was the same because of the STUPID decision to throw in a conditional draft pick for Williams. I was irritated about giving up what we did in '02 for Ricky. When I read about the conditional #1 I was livid because I knew at the time, if he stayed healthy, Wanny would get him the 1,500 yards and yet another first rounder would be cast into the wind. Throw in drafting Eddie F'n Moore (WHAT?!), trading a 2nd rounder IN YOUR DIVISION for the right to draft Wade Smith and a Taylor Whitley and this was probably the worst day one this team has had since the immortal "Billy Milner/Andrew Greene" draft of '95.

'04 was hit and miss. Carey was a very good pick but getting suckered by Mike Tice and giving up a 4th to move up one spot was stupid. Will Poole was all bad luck but a good pick at the time. Derrick Pope should be in red. the guy was a 7th round pick, has started and plays lights out special teams.

'05 was a good building block for the future, I love that draft.

It's WAY too early to judge '06. Hagan has shown flashes, Allen has barely seen the field (he is a poster child for why rookies should NEVER hold out) and I still think the 2nd for Daunte deal will look GREAT in a calender year.

That was more then I intended to type...LOL!

Rob Konrad should have been in red as well. He was one of the better offensive players we've drafted in recent history.

Isn't this the year Konrad becomes a bigger part of the offense ?????
