I was listening to NFL Radio this morning and Amani Toomer was on saying the Moye runs good routes, he has good hands and good speed and was surprised to not see him get drafted. Said if he can learn to get off the jam at the LOS then Miami found themselves an excellent receiver.
And it's funny that I've seen this question brought up multiple times about him, but getting off the jam at the LOS is exactly what I see in his game that intrigues me. Of all the times that he had either Dee Milliner or Dre Kirkpatrick jamming him in the two games they played in 2010 and 2011, I only saw them do it successfully maybe twice, and he fought back with some really keen releases that got him behind them and open several times. That was the best secondary in college football. But when you're a big player, getting off the LOS is always going to be the big question, because you're a big target.
It's interesting that Toomer has taken an interest in him. Amani played ball at Michigan, so he's got no love for Penn State. But he's probably seen Moye play because he watches Big Ten games. Moye caught 9 balls for 125 yards in 2 games against Michigan 2009 and 2010. They didn't play each other in 2011.
