I just noticed another way the Dolphins can get in the playoffs is if they win out and Cincinnatti loses out.

Cincinatti would have to lose their remaining 3 games, which include against Chargers, Chiefs & Jets. If they lose out and we win out we are garaunteed a wildcard spot no matter what else happens.

It will be interesting to see how the Bengals respond to the Chris Henry tragedy. They can either pull it together or let it become a distraction. Chris Henry was already out for the year with a broken arm. But the Bengals have struggled without him in the lineup.

Anyway, I just thought I would point out another playoff scenario to keep an eye out for.

RIP Chris Henry. Horrible. They've had a couple of tragedies in Cincinatti this year, when you couple this with Coach Zimmer losing his wife midseason. These are the kinds of things that weigh heavy on the heart. No matter what the players and coaches are saying about being resilient, they are going to be affected by this no matter how hard they try. Bottom line is I do believe it is very possible for them to lose out.

Then again, it's possible they use this to bring themselves together as a team and win a SB for Chris Henry. Dunno. Today's a sad day for the NFL and all it's fans, but the next 3 weeks of football are gonna be great.

There are definitely 2 losses in there that can happen.

KC who knows what they will do. It's possible. I actually think it's more possible to happen then Baltimore losing a game

Cincy has a top 5 ranked defense.. They are 2nd in points allowed, 3rd against the run, and rank 5th in total yards.

Their defense alone will easily win one or two of those games.

And they will be playing hard for Henry. They played hard for their assistant coach when he lost his wife earlier this season... if you remember it was the game on the road in Baltimore where they had a teary locker room for their coach after the win (who had just lost his wife earlier that week).

They'll win that division.. Book it

Talking about a player who died and then analyzing how it affects our playoff hopes is really crass, no matter how you dress it up... Not just this thread either.

Recent history suggest it is KC’s turn to win
They have been alternating winning for the last 2 decades.
