Sorry to do this to my fellow Phin fans but i had to start another Will Poole thread. What corner does he most remind you guys of? His style? His size?
 
Hes only had one season so its too early to start comparing him at the moment.
 
Alot of ppl are raving about Poole tho. You will get to see if all the hype is justified. When he played in his first season Will did well.
 
He is nothing really until he proves the injury did not set him back, otherwise he is just another Joe competing for a position.

Everybody raves about Poole, maybe i just missed something but his rookie campaign I didnt see too much out of him to consider start hyping him up like everyone is. Hopefully, I just missed something and he'll be the next young Surtain or Madison.

then i take it you missed the sunday night game when he held chad johnson to pretty much nothing....johnson i think had one reception and that was against good old jimmy wyrick......poole will start with allen next year.

Ya, I saw this special that was all about Chad Johnson on NFL Network... and they showed the game where Poole pretty much eliminated him... CJ was getting so damn frustrated... it was hilarious...

Could not agree more, he seems more comfortable covering the slot reciever as a nickel back. how awful would it be to take a CB in the first (Cromartie, who Saban coveted out of high school) and moving Daniels to Safety.
 
i think that Will Poole will be the nickel back at first only because Daniels has so much experience in Saban's system and Will Allen isn't coming of an injury. Poole covering the slot dosen't worry me at all.
 
why do people always apologise for starting a thread and then they do it anyway?
