This was a week ago, so I'm very sorry if this has been posted already. However, on Around The Horn, on the discussion of Jason Taylor getting fined, and his comment about QB protection, Woody Paige retorted with "Jason Taylor has no room to talk, does anyone even know who he is?" :lol:. Now, I know every one thinks Woody Paige is an idiot, and rightfully so. Just thought I'd share another moment of his idiocy with everyone.
 
:sidelol: Woody Paige is a world class jerk-off, borderline alzheimers patient.. I don't think he took his centrum silver that morning.

Nobody knows who Jason Taylor is? He possible couldn't of really said that..

I'll take what BB says with more credibility..it went a little something like "Taylor is the best defensive PLAYER in the AFC"..
 
After he said that, everyone on the show sounded exasperated and he was docked points as he should always be
 
loud mouth ignoramus. why do they pay people like that? he should be commenting on lumber prices or the pollen count. sports are too advanced for him

He said "the best player they've faced all season". So that means he thinks he's better than "juked by Brady" Urlacher.

I am not sticking up for the guy but he point was that the stars of the league are the quarterbacks and that people who don't watch football know who Tom Brady is but not Jason Taylor.
 
If memory serves, Woody is a Bronco homer and is still probably bitter about the 2005 season opener.

I'm sure that the last play said game has nothing to do w/ his malice towards JT.
 
if you dont know who jason taylor is and youre playing the miami dolphins you can pretty much say your screwed

your taking his quote out of context.......... woody was pointing out that as great a DE JT is, he's not a QB and therefore not of the same super-star status as a QB.... Which is why they over-protect QBs (topic of the dicussion) It's more clever than idiotic.
