Since Lemon is going to start to "see what he's got". Then why not start Alabi at a tackle spot? I mean if he could be a starter i think that would impact the offseason/draft more than what Lemon would.

Why not start him?
If you're looking to get an accurate evaluation of Lemon, you need to surround him with starting-calibur talent. This isn't the preseason.

because joey has completely tanked. and lemon has a beautiful arm strength and agility. the kid needs a shot.

I feel the same way about Alabi. the O-line has been Average at best and Alabi has done well in limited playing time. If he were to start and play well against a player like freeney that would have a much bigger impact on the draft IMO.

Playing 1 game is not going to tell us a whole lot. I would've rathered seen Lemon play the last 6 weeks as well as some of the other young guys playing about 6 games. It's hard to judge a player based on 1 game.

Yeah if Harrington plays in the 2nd half you can put Alabi in but you cant give Lemon a line that will in all probability have another hole if Alabi plays
Thats a good point, if we begin to evaluate Alabi we risk damaging Cleo's performance.
Cleo is not starting to "see what he got"? He's starting because right now he gives us the best chance to win. His mobility should help if O-Line cannot keep Freeney under control. If D-Mac struggles against Freeney, then put Alabi in.
Because he's the best QB on this team that's healthy. Alabi hasn't earned a chance to start.
If we were starting players for the heck of it, Vick would be our QB.
I totally forgot about that. Harrington sprained his ankle against the Pats and his play has been downhill every since then. That and his confidence.
