I picked him up after Week 1...then in week 2 he lays egg, so I bench him, then he blows up against NE!! I'm not playing him vs. the Chargers though.

he could be a pro bowler if he stays consistent and gonzalez/heap/winslow jr continue to do nothing.

One thing is for sure, if he stays healthy he can fill that huge void we have at TE.

Play him, SD has a very good Pass Defense. It will be tough to go long on them. The pass to our TE's and RB's will be our most succesful pass next game since they are normally covered by LB's. Look for us to exploit the hole Merriman left.

Well I'm not thrilled with his blocking skills, but the guy has played well. Him and Martin both. I was not a fan of trading for Fasno when we first got him, but he's playing fairly well. I just hope he continues to improve and we have a furture pro bowler. If he continues to catch the ball like he has and learns how to block I'll glady eat crow over his addition.

You're kidding right??? He has been great blocker!!! On one play I got him mixed up with Long on the end the block was so good. Please, give me one example in the first three games with the time and quarter where he had a bad block...

Martin is the one who has trouble blocking...it has improved from last year though...probably the coaches working with him.

Ya, Fasano has been blocking very well, thats why he was in the wildcat formation and not Martin.

Also, the coaches If i remember correctly have personally commented on the improvement in Martin's blocking, cant remeber when but I beleive it was like 2 weeks ago.

You missed two points.

#1 he has done all of this while having Zero Receptions in Game 2. I believe the cause of this was that when we got rid of Grigsby, Fasano was stuck playing Fullback in this game... no one has confirmed this though.

#2 Fasano has a 92% catch rate (11 for 12), which ranks 2nd in the NFL (Pitsburgh's Heath Miller is 9 for 9).

I know I want to pick him up in Fantasy but the bye week is keeping him there!

So Sunday night after the 49'ers play I'm picking him up!

well. tuna has a history of having good tight ends. mark bavaro, ben coates, jason witten. he drafted fasano in the 2nd round. he sees something there. i love the te position. fasano should be given every oppurtunity to become a main fixture for the team.

Martin lines up as the H-Back behind Carey and Long in the Wildcat formation.
