I don't think I've ever seen a coach so displeased to not lose. He looked like someone just took his lunch. Meanwhile Tannehill was exhaling a sigh of "thank God I didn't just lose this damn game for us!". I love the way Gase doesn't just accept the bad, even in a win. I think he will right the ship, its just gonna take a while to break all these bad habits. Go Phins!!

Edit: of course my stupid phone takes anyone and makes it antone, even though I've never once typed the name antone.

I didn't see Tannehill but I saw Gase and he shook his head after the miss, wasn't excited...he looked angry.

Truth is the guy has a roster full of boneheaded players. Guys not knowing their assignments or just free lancing too much. Some guys are not giving great effort and others don't know how to read defenses or understand route concepts. The first throw Jamar Taylor beats Stills to the spot...basically ran the route for Stills and Stills made no effort on that play...let Taylor cut off his route...on the other side you would think a QB that's been in the league for over 4 years would recognize that and not throw that ball...Taylor had the route read...Tannehill has to come off that receiver and go to another read. That probably ticks Gase off.

There was another throw to Parker where it looks like the throw from Tannehill is wide and no where near the target but you see Tannehill telling Parker he was supposed to run the other way, so Parker who missed much of training camp with a hamstring issue, still doesn't know the plays (and I think Gase has eluded to that earlier) and that may be part of the comment about players not knowing their assignments 3 weeks into the season.

We've heard this stuff from Campbell and from Philbin and we brushed it off as bad coaching. Now we're on a 3rd coach and the same thing is being said but we're going to blame the coaching again. At some point you just have to clean house and get new players. QB down to the last special teams guy.

I am willing to see what Gase can do but as of now I am not impressed

Miami's offense is playing bad ball and still look better than years past. I'm willing to wait.

Either with Tannehill or someone else, but Gase's offense is explosive.

The GM, Tannenbaum, needs to lose his job and let Gase pick his players. Maybe things will change.

They have to give Gase a chance, I like the way the guy presents himself alot. Remember how young he is too...

This is a 6-10/7-9 team...If we finish that way or worse it doesn't automatically mean the coach is bad. Now if we're 3 years in and he has had a few off-seasons to get his guys in and fully install his Gameplan, then yea....you make those judgements.

I love how Gase went after the offense after the game. "Flopping the ball around" I think is a direct shot at Tannehill.

Tannebaum is the worst. I'll never understand the Leronte Caroo trade, even if he works out. It didn't make sense

Watch Gase's post game conference. He was livid. Not happy at all. Pissed at the offense. Said they were flopping around out there. Tannehill said he didn't think we deserved the chance after Cleveland missed. A win is a win but they shouldn't be jumping for joy afterwards.

I love Gase. He is currently doing his press conference.

Didn't defend James, doesn't confirm he is the starter.

Exactly.....this was the most "unenjoyable" win I can ever remember.......normally I'm pumped up, yelling & excitedly into game (esp. an OT game) screaming for the Dolphins and celebrating the win. This game?.....I sat there in a near catatonic state like I was on a morphine drip and when Ajayi ran the ball in for the win I sat there expressionless like "oh....how nice, we won".

This sad excuse of a football team has withered my caring away & robbed me of a soul.

I hope Ross doesn't eventually pick Tannenbaum over Gase. Tannebaum already needs to be replaced IMO

That needs to happen and not just be lip service.

This sums it up for me also. I wasnt even excited. Not only that but no o e else was either. Espn''s highlights of our game started at the 4th qtr! Lmao. Pathetic. And only showed ajayis td run. Haha. Too comical

Very funny. I felt the same way. I actually felt like they lost. Never felt like that before until yesterday. Unreal

Gase said he was so annoyed by yesterday he didnt keep a ball or any sort of memento from his first game.

Little thing but thought it was interesting.
