For some reason I had a dream last night that our 1st free agent signing off 2009 was Antonio Bryant. I know the niners gave up on him and it worked out best for him becuz in Tampa Bay he is looking real good. Would you be happy if we end up with him and none of the other big name WR free agents in 2009. I know one thing we will be cutting Willford for sure to bad we could'nt get a late round pick for him.

didn't Bryant want to start a fight with Parcells in Dallas?

With the way Bryant has played for Tampa Bay in Joey Gallaway absence, there is absolutely no way they will not resign him to a long term contact.

Bryant always had the talent to be a #1 WR but his off the field activities is what has held him back in his career.

First, if these are the types of things you are dreaming about - seek help. Second, I think most teams will be hesitant to sign Bryant to a long term big money deal. Don't get me wrong, he will get interest from plenty of teams, but his past problems will cost him. Look for someone to have lots of conditions in his contract, moral clauses, things of that nature. Is he a #1? He has been on my fantasy team, but I think the Fins stay away.

Antonio is a great talent and I was lucky to see him while he played at Pitt. He has always been a little crazy which has hurt his pro career since the beginning. I'd love to see him come to the Dolphins so he can play in front of his hometown team. I don't see it happening with his history with Parcells and Tampa will want to sign him again anyways.

He will be the Ernest Wilford of next year.
I think he signs a big money deal and then goes back into his usual sloth mode after he gets paid.
Wr's more then any play extra hard in contract years, and then revert. He probably gets paid....and then gets suspended.

But I guess suspended is better then being deactivated.

I'm going with let's draft the next Colston. If the Saints can find him so can Bill Parcells. We should use free agency to add depth to O-line and D-line and the secondary and draft WR, LB and any other position you can think of.

Let him be Oakland's next useless signing, a couple of good games shouldn't erase a short career of garbage. Big money should go to someone who proves his worth night in and night out.
