So here's an interesting article about Cromartie:

http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/sports/13470005.htm

He's asking for input from the NFL Advisory committee and is trying to play in the Bowl game. The article insinuates that he might be trying to play to boost his stock because he might choose to declare.

If he declared I think the Phins would have to take a STRONG look at him. In fact if the thinking is that, because of the injury, he would slip below us then it would make sense to trade down a bit.

This guy's a PLAYER. If he comes back, he'll likely be a top 10 pick if not top 5 next year.

Sounds like a steal in the third or fourth-round...

hahaha hes worth a 1st. what u talkin about.

Before the injury he was worth a first. Players who come out after serious injuries tend to see their stock drop quite a bit. Look at Channing Crowder and Andrew Walter, for example...

channing crowder didnt come out after injury, and cromartie isnt coming out anyways.

I'd really like to see him come back and play a full season and see him have no reoccuring issues with the knee first and see if he's still playing at the same level. He's only really played one full season.

If Cromartie were to come out this year, it would be extremely stupid of him. He will be a solid top-15 pick next year (if he isn't really rusty from his injury next season). If he were to come out this year, he may sneak into day 1.
