i was wondering since we have signed all of our draft picks except ronnie and matt and we redone d bo s contract dose anybody know our salary cap of now... thanks

We still have to sign Vickerson. Otherwises, I don't know what the cap is.

Vickerson may be on thin ice already. He better get with the program.

Don't forget, we have no clue what hit ricky has against the cap

When he reports to camp, it will be $540,000. However, sometime during the Preseason, Steinberg wants to get a new deal done with the Fins that is highly based on incentives. So, his 2005 cap hit will probably be in the range of $1.5-2 million.

True But Didnt We Save About 2 Mil On Restructure D Bo S Contract ?

I THOUGHT I READ THAT IF RICKY COMES BACK AND STAYS clean that we would forgive him of the 8.6 mil and that we would give him the 540,000 this year and then next year he would make more but i could be wrong

thanx nublar7 for the avatar:)

I think it's stupid that we gave Ricky his pretty pennies back before he even signed anything in terms of a return. Hopefully there was some dialogue that states he must meet certain guidelines first.

Personally, I hope we don't sign that clown Vickerson. I also hope we don't restructure Ricky's contract. I've said all along that he's coming back only for the money and this just further justifies my point. I think the base minimum is a good punishment. We don't need him bad enough that if he holds out, we'll care.

If they give him a new deal then they are out of their friggin minds. Especially if they have plans on trading him after this upcoming season.

David Boston deserves to be getting peanuts...and he should be thankful that much.

My understanding is that Boston took less to come back. I can't remember what the other team was.

Well thats more than Ricky should get anyways . At least he actually wants to play. And play for us. Unlike a guy who retires to go smoke dope and travel the world. I hope Boston lights it up for us. Personally I like him.
