Any chance for us to move into the 4th rd for....

LOL If there's another trade where we give up future draft pics for a specific player this dolphin's forum will implode!
 
He'll fall to us in the 5th. He ran a 4.9 40 and most teams think he cant play in space so theres no need for him in the nfl
 
We have three picks left. A 5 and two 7s. We have to get a Lb in the fifth. Maybe scooby wright or joe Schobert will still be there when we pick. In the seventh we need a guard and a safety or a defensive end. Would love it if spencer Drango or Denver kirkland were stll there. Deon bush would be nice at safety. He will probably be gone tho. Maybe a dj pettaway at end.
 
Given what we've had to give up for the other trades, I'm going to guess the rest of next year's picks.
 
You sit and wait for the 5th. There are some MLB's that will be there.

Josh Perry (can play anywhere)
Antonio Morrison
Tyler Matakevich
Nick Kwiatkoski

All have not great combine numbers, but are smart, hard-noised LB's. I think they can stick on the roster and help on special teams.
 
I don't think there is a chance Scooby will be there in the 5th round. I was hoping that was who Tannebaum was trading up back into the 3rd for(not that I would have been totally happy with it after finding the compensation we have up for it). This kid will be a stud despite the slow 40 time. Instead we give up 3 picks to draft another WR. The Dolphins are attacking this draft as if the offense is the one that needs help(I get the oline upgrade and a need for another rb). Meanwhile, this LB group will continue to be the reason why the run d will pathetic again this year. We need to drafts starters first before you start adding depth at positions.
 
I'd rather stay where we are inthe 5th, and pick up a DE prospect like Dadi Nicholas or Matt Judon.

I think now we MUST go with whomever they believe can make the roster, not need. The likelihood a 7th rounder will contribute as anything more than special teams for the first two years is wishful thinking. I like the LBs as is, not sure if anyone left on the board would make the team.

I'm pretty amazed a lot of those guys are still there

Give me Matakevich, kwiatowaki, Goodson, or perry
 
Goodson is fast enough, big enough. Would be a good backup and a special teams terror. Hard nosed kid, great effort.

I still can make an argument for a RB that could chase Daniel Thomas or Isiah Pead off and there will be backs there:

CB: Still some CB's there that can make this roster.
Rashad Robinson: I still love his ability on the field. Fits the part.

I am probably content with my Oline and will find a FA DE in Jason Jones or Jeremy Mincy.
 
I would like to see Miami get Landon Turner if he falls to the 5th. If Miami trades up what about Andrew Billings in R4? I wouldn't trade any more draft picks from 2017 to make that happen though.
