Just saying, there is no benefit to seeing Gibril suck it up another game. Why not let Clemons go for most of the snaps this Sunday against a pass happy team in Pitt.

Unfortunetly, our coaching staff seems to not be able to recognize this

I think he'll get more playing time, and there's also a chance Lex Hilliard is our starting running back! But unlike the people on here I like what I've seen out of him.

If Ricky is out we might also get to see some of Kory Sheets.

Clemons backs up Bell, not Wilson. If Clemons gets significant time at FS, that says more about Clemons failing at SS than Wilson failing at FS.

I agree he flys around vs the run and short routes but I am the only one who sees how lost he looks in open space down the field? Not saying Wilson does much better but still

Im not defeding Wilson, but i dont get the love of Clemons. He is out of position a lot and jumps short routes too quickly. Never mind his inability to two hand touch tackle anyone in space.

You sure about that?

yea cuz hes played enough safety to make a statement like this...i think we saw him for the most plays this past sunday.

No way this happens, there is still a better draft position we need to secure.

See for yourself. Clemons is a backup strong safety, not a backup free safety. Clemons is Bell's backup.

For Clemons to start the final game as a free safety would mean he's changing positions, and while players occasionally do rotate positions depending on injury, it makes no sense to draft a guy to play one safety spot and then move him to the other in the final game of the season. At least, it doesn't make sense if the goal is to evaluate his progress.

If the goal is to see how Clemons is coming along, then Bell, not Wilson, has to sit.

God damn, some of you guys are so ****ing stupid. You don't even realize that Clemons is a SS not a FS.

Like Desides said, Clemons backs up Bell. Culver backs up Wilson.

Are you begging to see Culver instead of Wilson? God I hope not.

Clemons got shook out of his ****ing shoes by Jones on Sunday, he couldn't even react to that juke, he just stood still and you want him to start over our second leading tackler?

Sean Smith looked like a ***** trying to tackle him on that play.

Clemons is another guy we havent seen enough of to know what hes capable of. We see him on pretty much just special teams and hes always close to the ball. He looks like hes fast and hes not afraid to hit. Id personally like to see more of him. Im not going crazy over him or nothing but i guess im just hoping for the best out of a rookie when we have veterans who are playing like ****.
