Now before anyone starts freaking, this is a general ? It is way too early to evaluate Sparano as a head coach. I am saying in the future, do you think there is a chance for the legandary coach to come down out of the box and replace the young coach, similar to the Heat situation a couple years ago.

dude. this is crazy. i was thinking of posting the same exact thing. i think parcells is just setting up the team to his likeing and then pull a pat riley and bump sparano. thats miami style baby!!!!!!!! go dolphins!!!!!!!!!

Bill Parcells will die of a heart attack if he had to coach this team. No chance at all he comes to back to coaching, not here.

For a second I thought you meant literally. lol. Wouldn't have been surprised with some of the threads posted here.

Anything is possible but Parcells is pretty old. That would make him by far the oldest coach in the league since Gibbs retired. I'd say it's unlikely.

It seems like he backs away, takes a break for a bit, and then gets the itch again. Maybe the posisition he is in will kill the itch to coach a bit.

Jeez. These Sparano hate threads are becoming ridiculous. It's been two freaking games. I think a clone of Shula and George Halas could not do better given the talent level on this team. 2 WEEKS. Can we stop with this nonstop bashfest and ACCEPT THE FACT that this is going to take time to fix? I'm tiring of reading all the negativity and insane talk here after we lost two games to the start the season, one of which we were in position to win.

Stop this madness. Sparano is going nowhere, and this carousal of a coaching staff NEEDS TO STAY PUT. Give it time.

PS: Cameron the buffoon drafted Ginn who he though could be the gamebreaker ALA Hester while letting the D rot.. The organization though they could fix it by bringing in Porter. That was not a rebuilding effort, that was a win now mentality. If you ask me this is the FIRST year in a rebuilding effort.

WE WERE THE WORST TEAM IN NFL HISTORY. NOW STOP WITH THIS GARBAGE

Um, I think you should read the post before sticking your foot in your mouth, even reading the 1st sentence might save you some grief! Just a suggestion:up:

What is the point of this thread Stang? Just because you preface the post by stating "before everyone freaks out" doesn't take away from what you are trying to infer - Namely the possibility that Parcells will come out retirement to take over down the line. I can only assume you posted this because we started 0-2 and are looking to appoint blame in every direction possible. Let me ask you this, would you have created this post if the Dolphins were sitting at 2-0 right now? Or is this post a reflection of your inability to look at the big picture and realize that the rebuilding process will take more time than we all thought?

Keep digging a hole buddy, maybe you should go read some of my other posts before making assumptions. Sparano isn't the problem, Beck wasn't the problem, Ginn isn't the problem. IMO, Penny is part of the problem because his lack of arm strength takes away from our 1 strength on O, the run game. How ever, it is not even close to being his fault completely. Our pass D is horrible. As far as the original discussion, yes I would have posed the same ? had we been 2-0. The Heat were playing well when VG got replaced. It was just a thought that jumped in my head because of the similarities with the GM and coach. That is why I started with my 1st 2 sentences the way I did. Any more brain busters?
