The Bears had there QB problems last year so is there any chance they lose faith in Grossman and go for Daunte?

I could just imagine if he returned to form with that team they would probably win the superbowl.

I don't really see it happening. Grossman is definitely a major question mark for the Bears, but he did lead them to a super bowl and did play very well in half of their games. They also have Brian Griese behind him, and Kyle Orton is the third stringer. You could have a lot worse backups than those two. So my guess would be that should Grossman struggle, or get injured like he has been prone to, Chicago would just hand the job over to a backup rather than trade for Culpepper.

I would be surprised if Culpepper starts a game in 2007. He should just focus on '08 and put this year behind him.

Pepper's chances of starting anywhere are at best slim. Barring any major injuries to a teams starting QB he'll prolly backup someone at best.

How's Pennington's rotator cuff?

yea i dont see the bears wining the super bowl with Culpepper i dont ever seeing culpepper being a starter agian in this league

Gotcha. What made you a Finfan? Being raised in Buffalo and being a Finfan is quite.....interesting.

The reason why i became a finfan is Ricky Williams i always enjoyed watching him so i started watching more and more games and gradually became a fan. And im not sure why i like the dolphins more than the bills theres just something about miami that i like more.

I don't care as long as this drama gets done with soon. I would rather talk about anything else Dolphin related than D. Culpepper.

Ah, Ricky. (moment of silence) Hopefully you'll come around and abandon the Bills.

Wow! Just wow!

You may be the only preson on the planet who has ever made that statement!

Not sure why anybody thinks that Chicago is desperate for a Qb. Rex Grossman is one year older than the guy we just drafted and has looked very good at times and not so good at other times. Last year was Rex's first as a starter and he will surely get better. They have brian griese as a backup and he is more than adequete as a backup at this point in his career. they also have Kyle orton who hasn't even turned 25 and has started as a rookie. This seems a team that is in pretty good shape at QB. they have a veteran and two pretty good young guys one who is already the starter and one that needs some seasoning.

At least you admit a team would have to be desperate to be interested in Culpepper.

i think a team would have to be desperate to trade a pick for a guy that has been injured twice in two years and you know you could just wait untuil miami cuts him. i agree that is a desperate move, akin to our move to trade a 4th for a 37 year olds qb coming off a bad year. I would not agree with either move. If you wait til pepp gets cut you risk basically nothing and if you are lucky and he comes back to form then you can have incentives in the contract. I see no reason for any team interested in pep to trade a pick that can be saved. Sooner or later and it will proabbly be sooner they know we will cut him.
