Steve Smith has publically expressed his concerns about being in Carolina. He said that he feels he can't contribute to the team anymore. Should the Dolphins go after him?

You're a day late and a dollar short kiddo.

The trade deadline ended yesterday.

But I guess it didn't stop these trade threads from dying a slow painful death.

I guess we could start the ole lets get T.O. threads again:aww:

Perhaps...if the only thing you consider to be news is the highly unlikely addition of random players.

(tom brady and brett favre threads? wha?)

Besides all of the above mentioned reasons why it's not going to happen ESPN reported today (sportscenter) that Steve Smith is unhappy with the fact that they are running the ball so much. You can't blame the guy wanting the ball and even though he's been thrown to almost 50 times (I think 46) he only has 21 receptions with 0 touchdowns. This is due to him being double covered since he's the dominant receiver on the team.

So what does this have to do with Miami? The Dolphins want to pound the ball since they good at it. Do you honestly think Steve Smith is going to be O.K. with Miami looking to run the ball when he's pissed that Carolina is? I don't think so.

Either way it would be nice to have someone of his calibur on our team but even if it was possible (maybe at the end of the season) I doubt this coaching staff is going to want a player like that.

P.S. - I do still believe that he can be a #1 on a different team. The man's still got it.

Maybe in the off-season, i would love to see it.

Chad Henne needs support in the offense so he can lean on talented players when his youth gets the best of him
