With Murtha going down, we are even thinner than before. It seems ridiculous to think that a bunch of people on a forum would know better than the offensive line guru, but c'mon!

Personally, I'd move him back to RT. Then either find a new guard or move Pouncey and find a new center

Hope they do for now, he isn't transitioning all that well at G yet, and he has to be a bit better than Colombo still....wish we could find a new RT altogether

They will most likely not move Carey again though and Keep Colombo as starter at RT

If our O-line struggles and their too stubborn to do anything, they are going to have a ton of pissed fans

Carey would be even worse at OT then he is at guard folks.

Probably even in my take.....can't be worse than Colombo though. It's simple though, we need a new RT

He was absolutely PATHETIC last year, and he looks even heavier than ever.

Columbo also isnt the answer out there. If we cut both those guys today, neither would get picked up by any other team...they really are that bad.

Let's hope Feinga/Garner are breathing down their necks on the depth chart then.

I think Carey would sign somewhere for a one year deal at league minimum. Columbo, I agree,to the extent someone would give him a one year minimum as an experienced backup type OT. And we pay him 2 mil for one year LOL

none of the vets is going to catch on with any team for at least till after we play the Pats......if you bring on a vet before opening day then you have to pay him for the whole year.....if you bring him after week one then is a week to week contract.....we will bring Will Allen and Larry Johnson back after the pats game imo.

Ozzy rules!!

Not really.

T is where he's played as a Pro, and he has done reasonably well there. He last played G (I believe) at "the U", and did pretty well, too. But that was then, this is now. T is his best position...specifically, RT.

He was REALLY bad last year. Absolutely TERRIBLE.
Lots of it had to do with a bad knee IIRC, and the rest had to do with his weight.....which of course doesnt help a bad knee.

So he's had an offseason to let the knee heal (Didnt he get Scoped end of last year?) but he is still as fat as ever. Non-speed rushers were going around him untouched last year. I'm not talking about Dwight Freeney going around him, I'm talking about Richard Seymour going around him without any contact.

lets hope we get some guys in here that are capable starters. People act like Garner is so good and he cant even start on this line lol
