first game i missed in i dont know how long

I keep reading that Henne missed Hartline on a bomb?? I duno?

Can anyone give me a visual?

ie...did hartline beat his man? was henne pressured? just a poor overthrow? what quarter? down? lol sorry i HATE missing even a single play! sh*t, i dont even blink for an extra point!

Hartline was running seam route and there was no safety help, he beat his man to the inside and Henne overthrew him by about 5 yards and put it a little to far outside. Really it was a timing thing, should of hit it though

Hartline had his receiver beat by about 2 or 3 yards and Henne over threw him by about 3 or 4 yards. It was very early in the game it might have even been the first play we ran but I could be wrong.

i think a lot of it had to do with the adrenaline. wasn't it henne's first pass of the game? he needed to calm down a bit. lol

Hartline was open. Henne got a little excited and overthrew him. It could have been a TD if Henne had a little more touch on the throw.

I think Henne gave the wind in Giant stadium more respect than it deserved early in the game. Henne also missed a couple of other passes while under duress later in the game. Not one of his better games but the key is he didnt have a turnover, his best pass was the out pattern he overthew to Rivas side who was ready to take it for a TD, I was so glad he looked before throwing because our D was playing well at the time.

Maybe Henne was used to Ginn's speed? lol

Seriously though, it was just adrenaline.

That pass was with the wind at Henne's back. It could be that the pass got caught in a swirl.

I agree. He looked a little tenative and was holding the ball a little too long. I too am glad he didn't commit any turnovers.
