the fins have been doing new plays with the wildcat every week and i was curious of whats next for the texans? any1 got any ideas? ive been kinda hoping for a dubble reverse from Ronnie to Ginn

Hopefully trhey get patrick cobbs the ball atleast once.. think about it with 3 rbs in the game no one will espect cobbs to take it.. hes a good runner too.

They could put CP in RW's spot and hand it to him and have him pass.

that'd be interesting to see...Ronnie takes the snap, then hands off to CP,who then proceeds to throw a TD pass to Camarillo,Ginn,Fasano,or whomever is down the field....

There's so much they could do. That's what's great about the formation.

Line up in the Wildcat formation so the defense prepares for it, then motion Chad into the QB spot to cause confusion.

Run an option with Ronnie and Ricky.

Have Ginn or Bess take it for an end around.

Have Ronnie run it left off tackle as the defense stacks the side where Long and Carey are lined up together.

Throw a little dump off pass to Ricky in the flat.

The possibilities are endless.

I want to see something like shotgun to Ronnie Brown, fake to Ricky and pass to Pennington because no one would expect it.

you know what i would love to see? Jake long come off the line as a tight end with a little drag route across the middle to ronnies left and let ronnie throw it Damn that would be nice!!

Yeah I want to see Jake Long catch a TD pass that would be sweet.:hi5:

I'm not sure the Wildcat will work this week. It's really about the system of defense that's being played. I was listening to Mad Dog the other day, doing the Warren Sapp show, and they both talked about how that offense was geared to take advantage of a 3-4 defense that is designed to anticipate what the offense is going to do. That's not what the Texans run at all. They're much more traditional.

As for new a wrinkle, Ted Ginn! He ran the wildcat, or a variation, at Ohio State. Get him involved!

quick snap to...the slot guy ted ginger.don't think it's ever been tried before. hope samson's been practicing the lateral left knee snap.

when they run the ricky sweep, they need to choose to do it when the balls lined up on the opposite side hashmark. that extra ~5 yards give ricky a lot more room to work. vs NE, we ran a couple sweeps that could have been huge gains if we hadnt run them to the skinny side of the field.

also want to see the counter play with ronnie running weak side. gotta properly set that up by slamming ronnie right side repeatedly.

camarillo and cramer block well, should utilize that with sweeps to ricky.

finally i want to see ronnie throw from the pocket once. fake the hb dive behind the Ike-Carey-Long wall, then take a step back and try to hit fasano or cobbs (or pennington on the deepball lol)

I've only really seen last weeks game play in and play out. It seemed that Ricky was used more of a decoy most of the time while Ronnie got the real work. It would be a nice change up to see Ricky get some real action out of this formation.

Use it the 1st play on offense. Then shut it down the rest of the game unless we fall behind by 10 points.
