any news about smiley injury ?

The last I heard was a blurb in one of the Herald articles that there may have been ligament damage as well. If that's true, then his 2009 season is in doubt.

Guard Justin Smiley, the Dolphins' top performing offensive lineman, broke his right leg when a Rams defender rolled up on it during the first quarter of Sunday's 16-12 win over St. Louis.

Smiley will likely have a pin inserted in the leg, which broke near the ankle. He would become the fourth Dolphin placed on injured reserve.

alleman is no smiley, however since smiley went down, we're 3-0.. so good response from alleman no doubt...
allemans had some false starts.. i hope he gets it together, cuz he was highly coveted on the waiver wire, and will always add great depth.. probably our best backup OLer....
 
Alleman can play any position on the line (great depth) so we gotta keep him and he played special teams
