Anyone heard anything about his leave or if there's a planned date of return?

I keep thinking that if he were here, Rosen would be already ahead of Fitz on the depth chart.
Brother last I read I believe he is gone for the year. Not sure if there has been an update.

That would be too bad. Flores could certainly lean on him and Rosen would certainly benefit like Stafford did. To me, his loss to the team is equivalent of a 2nd tier player going out on IR

Yes, he was a great hire and it is a shame he can't be here. Wish him nothing but the best and hope his health improves.

...whatever Mister Caldwell is dealing with it certainly seems to be
kept far away from public knowledge.

That would tend to infer "more serious" than less IMO.

There are numerous reports/stories of how the NFL takes a toll
on coaches -- and we all know high levels of stress are "toxic."

From a selfish standpoint his absence is a big loss for the team.
That said, we can only hope he defeats whatever the battle is
and returns to Miami.

His wisdom, insights, and proven knowledge would certainly benefit
Flores & Company.

Hope you're getting better every day...

I'm hopeful he's still contributing through advice and some analysis from home, while he gets better. It's sometimes very therapeutic to have at least bit of involvement in something you love, while the body deals with an illness..
