as reported on the sun sentinel, he was hit in the knee
during a drill by anthony armstrong.

he trierd to stay in and play but was called off the field
when it was apperant it was bothering him and he didnt return.

anyone get any news?

He finished practice but was visibly bothered by it. Omar suspects he won't be practicing this afternoon but that it wasn't serious.

Hope all is OK with Smith, kind of pumped to see what the kid can do in a real game.

Probably just one of those things that you walk it off for awhile. I've gone from limping like a mad man after getting my knee slammed into to running around just fine 30 minutes later.

ugh injuries suck but I'd be more ticked off if we lost him in training camp to a guy who most likely will be working in a grocery store this time two months from now, than I would to lose a player during the season.

Sean Smith just happens to be one of the most praised rookies in TC thus far. If he sprained his pinkie toe, I want to make sure it isn't going to slow his progress.

I wouldn't worry about anything guys. I was at TC this afternoon and he was signing after walking around like nothing happened.

having played a little bit myself, like i am sure a lot of us have, it has always amazed me that some of these guys at this level (db's and wr's) don't wear knee and thigh pads. wonder if he wears them, anyone have any pics?
