I'm just wondering because if he is out in this game we really got a big boost. We don't have to worry about him scrambling or making plays out of the pocket although his injury can prevent that stuff. If Collins starts we can focus more on Chris Johnson who is a beast and can make a play almost by himself. Collins I applaud him at his career and him still playing but he is not a better option then Vince Young. I'm hoping Collins plays badly. We can gobble up sacks and ints if he plays.

Something tells me though Vince Young will play but I don't think for the whole game.

Anyone got Updates on his injury?

he did practice thursday, but when asked if he was going to play sunday, he said he was unsure which was a departure from what he was saying earlier in the week. coach fisher said he was "hopeful" young would play.

i would anticipate him playing...but he likely won't be running out of the pocket as much as usual.

Thanks, Yea I'm looking at his injury as a big advantage for us.

He will play and he will still run, there's no way he plays gimpy. Yes it might be sore but you don't risk a hamstring tear if you really shouldn't be out there.

If there was a chance he doesn't play it would be if he sat out practise all week, he's playing.

He split reps with the 1st team at practice today (or was it yesterday?) according to ESPN.

I also expect him to play...

sorry for double post but I just saw on Sportscenter it listed him as one of the players under "Expected To Play".

Well we should attack his legs lol. VY is dangerous especially when all the hype is on Chris Johnson. I hope we don't overlook Vince Young ability to make plays.

qb runs have killed us all year, i hope sparano has a remedy for this while still trying to contain CJ

Young practices with 1st team, still questionable

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vince Young took all the practice reps with the Tennessee Titans first-team offense Friday as they prepare to host the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
Young is listed as questionable because of a pulled right hamstring that forced him out of last week's victory over the St. Louis Rams in the second quarter.
Young, who said his hamstring is not really sore, said testing it in pre-game warm-ups will determine whether starts for the Titans (6-7), who are still on the edge of the AFC wild-card playoff picture.
"That's gonna be the biggest test, when I get out there on Sunday and run around in pre-game," Young said. "I'm gonna wait till Sunday and see how I feel. I really haven't run on it fully yet, but it felt pretty good today."

Best thing that can happen is that he starts and has to come out because he re-aggrivates the injury. Worse thing that could happen is for Collins to start and be pulled because he is ineffective. We don't want Young coming off the bench with a chance to be the savior, IMO.

It wont matter. If VY plays both him and CJ become monsters. If Collins plays they feed the rock even more to CJ. Either way it still means the Fins got to tackle and tackle well.
