As if I didn't already know

Just curious if Winston has gone yet. FO has little time to waste for I'm sure they are lining up several top shelf players who are naive enough to think that our FO will pay them market price...

lets see Richard Marshall

Manningham

Mario Williams lol

Sure there will be a few more teases to come.....

That OK for me I'm finally used to it........and an actual signing a very pleasant and unexpected surprise....

He will command too much money, think upward of $8 million per year on at least a 5 year deal.

We will move on, we tried to get him to accept a smaller deal and looks like he will not accept it.

He's visiting other teams. I think the Dolphins didnt want to invest so must at RT with Murtha recently signing his tender.

jthom1:
OT Eric Winston, the former Houston Texan, will visit the Rams and Baltimore, per the Godfather, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle.[via Twitter]

You mean he didnt take jeffs best offer for $2 and a pack of envelopes?

I'll be pissed if we don't sign Winston, but I certainly won't be surprised. I don't think Ireland is as terrible as a lot of others, but he is ****ing cheap, and that pisses me off. Looks like ****ing Lydon Murtha will be our RT.

Thanks for the update Folks

Figures. Wonder why they even bring these guys in. It's not like we have Shula and they really want to play for the guy.
For that matter I wonder why these top shelf guys come here ........ I guess fewer and fewer will

Rumor them bringing in M Williams.... for what to low ball him .......... Oh bring him down I'll be excited .......NOT

Well it seems this is not the best year for signing FA's on the cheap. At this point most FA's are signing big money. Plus, Winston wants to play for a winner and well, we all know his desire to play for a winner eliminates Miami.

you get players on the cheap after the draft, the experts think there will be 300-400 FA's still available then.

makes sense...remember this is the same guy who decided to give Jake Grove a HUGE deal when he hadnt done squat..but we have a GLARING HOLE at RT, and we lowball the best available RT on the Market...5 straight years of starting on one of the best Lines in Football?? nawww too accomplished for us...
