Are Gibson and Binns back? Or will they be released since Landry is definitely a starter?

Gibson is gimpy, looking more and more like a candidate for the PUP list.
Binns has been doing well from what I've read but so have a couple others and if they only keep 5 WRs, he may get squeezed out

Juan Huron is still trying to make the practice squad. :idk:

It's about time we just accepted the ammon binns is just a newer version of juilus pruit. He'll look good in camp, be a media darling then get sent to the practice squad.

Gibson limped off the field Sunday I think and came back with an icepack on his knee. Hopefully it is more as a precaution than anything, but I doubt they will say anything anytime soon. We just have to hope he's back on the field sooner than later. If not, I do see Landry starting the slot of Gibson is gone.

Landry is not a starter...right now he's 5th on the depth chart behind Wallace, Hartline, Gibson/Matthews and possibly behind Binns. He'll make the roster and probably end up no worse than 4th on the depth chart.

Gibson is still recovering from his injury and so is Binns but Binns is basically a year removed from his injury since it happened in training camp last year while Gibson is only about 8 or 9 months removed. Question I have is if Gibson is not 100% at the end of training camp do you wait on him when you have receivers like Binns, Williams and Thigpen who are 100% and can contribute at the start of the season. It's a tough question because Gibson has good chemistry with Tannehill and he was clearly our best receiver after the catch last year.

Yup..right now. I bet this changes if Gibson is out again.

Moe Torboat is covering it, follow him on twitter

The fact he came back and laid won on the sidelines to watch with his ice makes me thing it was just swelling and soreness that sometimes comes with recovery. I bet he will just be day to day until it gets better. Just my guess. Landry looked good in pads anyway though from what I read.

agree!

I expect (hope) Binns is able to make the team, he can be a huge weapon in the redzone, while he also has good enough speed to go along with his size, to make him dangerous anywhere on the field.

Gibson, I like a lot, but he seems injured to me, and Landry could be an even better version of him, so he may be traded if it starts to get too crowded.

I had really high hopes for Binns last year. I hope he picks up where he left off in Cincy. He is a threat.

I think we are more than set at WR this year even with Gibson's injury/recovery. My question is with Wallace's ballooning contract, do we have his replacement next year? I really don't believe Wallace is the "team type" player that will restructure this contract. Is a healthy Armon Binns or a developing Mathews that deeper threat? Since we have Hartline for the middle routes, Gibson and Landry for the shorter to mid-range routes.

gibson traded ? so what do you think a receiver that was average to begin with , ruptured his patella tendon 10 months ago, who could click in the right system like with us could net in a trade ?
