i know its wayy too early fin fanatics but im curious who we can grab come free agncy to adress the cb situation cuz sammy is gettin old and id like Sam to be a part time secondary player so we will have amazing depth

We may have some already on the roster. I think Will Poole can be a very good corner. And we have Shirdonya Mitchell, who was getting high marks prior to his injury. We'll have to see how both of them come back from their injuries.

Did charles woodson sign a longterm deal or was he franchised?

Clements isn't a bad idea. I don't see Mcalister going anywhere though. I'm interested in seeing Poole though. I think he could slide in nicely. Ill trust what Saban chooses though, being his experience coaching the secondary.

Clements wants to be the top paid corner in the NFL -- just to let everyone know. I think he's a beast, even if he plays for those we don't speak of.

I haven't really looked but I don't want Woodson at all. I also don't think you can put any faith in someone that's coming off of injury such as Will Poole. I'd love to get Nate Clements if he were available though.

I think Woodson would be a good addition, but it depends on the price, which would likely be high. He jacked up T.O. pretty good last week.

Clements numbers will be inflated this year. The bills have the worst run D in the NFL. No teams throw on them cause they don't have to. Teams are averaging 5.3 yards per rush. He wants to be the highest paid corner in the league, but he's not a top shut down corner. He thinks that his ST play makes up for that though.

Shirondaya Mitchell was highly regared coming into the draft before his injury. He is also a very good kick returner. Saban got this kid for a reason.

Poole should be fully recovered by next season. He got injuried over 3 months ago. He should be back to his full form by next years TC no problem. Remeber he was a first round pick that slipped because of getting arrested. Since then he has been a model player. I haven't even heard a peep about him.

Woodson was franchised again and is making 10 million this year. Next year it jumps to 12 million. He wants a top tier contract, and saban will not give it to him. He beleives in building through the draft, and then suplementing the roster with affordable veteran talent. You can probably also take Clement off the list for that reason.

Wow, I was not aware of that... and now that Spikes is out, looks like that number could rise...
