And if Grier plays it right he will make sure the other team provides draft pick(s) to compensate for providing salary cap relief.The only way I see us taking on any vets is if they see great value in a potential trade. There are currently 7 teams with negative cap room. 3 more teams have less than 1M in cap money. TB, LAC & WAS are in big time negative cap room. If a few of those teams get desperate to unload salary & the player looks like a fit, we are in great shape to get those player(s) for pennies on the dollar.
