Anybody else miss Mandich??

I think Joe Rose is doing a great job..and even Cefalo is growing on me..what I dont like is that during away games..they seem to have a 5-7 second delay on the t.v...so where I used to turn off the announcers and listen to the game..I cant do that anymore.
 
Absolutely. I'm actually missing Howard David at this point.

You know, Big Papa Pump had a 790 AM shirt on. Why dont they put him on the air, at this point. They might actually get some sort of rating out of someone besides Joe Rose.
 
Yeah, I miss Mandich. He had so much passion for the Fins and he would say exactly what he thought - good or bad.

However, today during the locker room interview he was funny when he said he was on a roll with the interviews until Chambers turned him down. But he does tend to not get interviews with the stars of the team. We get alot of lineman on both sides of the ball. I am sure when Mandich approached alot of the big names would welcome the interview.
 
Absolutely!!!! Mad Dog is the best in the business. I had the opportunity to meet him in person twice and he is the real deal. He truly loves the Dolphins and is the best announcer we have ever had. Cefalo and Rose don't come close.

He talked to Ronnie Brown and Lance Schulters today, the two guys who had the biggest impact on the game. Then he came back to Chambwers and interviewed him. And last week he talked to Zach and Jason, in a losing locker room, so I'm not sure what you're talking about.
 
I'm stuck listening to every game on NFL radio and I definitley miss Mandich. I always felt like he was there celebrating every big play with me. I don't feel the same about Cefalo and Rose.
 
I miss the team of Mandich and Zimfer. The combination of those 2 couldn't have been any better. Then it took gradual steps downhill when they god rid of Zimfer and put in Howard David. Then, the big fall downhill came this year when they switched to 790. Joe Rose is OK (can be annoying at times), but I can't listen to a radio broadcast anymore because of Cefalo. Every time some kind of big play happens, his voice sounds like he either got punched in the stomach or he's constapated. It's a shame how Dolphins radio broadcasting has gone down the garbage disposal through the recent years.
