That our best defense was this lineup...
DE-Langford
DT-Starks
DT-Solia
DE-Merling
OLB-Taylor
MLB-Torbor
OLB-Roth
CB-Vontae
CB-Smith
SS-Wilson
FS-Clemons

Maybe it's just me, but it really looked like we relied heavily on this lineup, and the couple times we really struggled were with Bell and Porter in the game.

I also noticed Roth and Torbor played well today as newbie starters.

I also noticed one play early in game where walden was playing. just one play but thought that surprising to say the least.

I noticed that as well. I also noticed that Roth looked stout setting the edge against the run for most of the time he was out there. I'm most surprised and frankly a bit confused as to why we didn't see Cameron Wake? What the hell? It's not like we couldn't have used his pass rush today.

What. You mean we looked better without Porter and Crowder on the field. NO WAY. What will we ever do without the BIG GAME TALKERS out there?

On another note, does anyone know what happened to the thanks function?

I wanted to give you a "thanks" for this post, but alas I simply had to quote you and say thanks.

Perhaps I wore the ****ing thing out? FH is now all thanked out because of my overuse of the feature.

Bell and Porter are both slower this year and it's getting more and more evident each game. Shifting Wilson over to SS and Clemons playing FS worked pretty damn well today. The unwritten rule is you shouldn't lose your job to injury but in Crowders case, I'd make an exception. Torbor played well enough today and is more consistent.

Wake was in. He didn't get much a chance though since the Jets kept moving the chains. And he was probably a little winded from all that special teams work. You can tell he's in by watching for the guy rushing from the outside with his arms up and his side parallel to the ground.

I totally agree. We should keep our line up just like this!
