the man has 8 picks and has only played 6 games(leads the nfl), the worst part is that he isnt even the full time starter, he splits time with donte whitner. byrd is excellent against the pass but not so good vs the run (which is why he splits time with whitner). i say we just keep running the ball down their throats and dont throw the ball deep

Scared of Byrd? **** no. Worried he may get an INT? He might. But, I doubt he will change the outcome of the game, a phins victory.

We should run the ball? Ya think? What a great ****ing idea. How did you come up with that ****?

Like WV said, if he gets an INT it won't be enough to win the game. I am more afraid of Big Bird.

well jairus byrd single handedly won the jets game for the bills even though thomas jones had over 200 yds, he also won them the panthers game even though their RB's carved up the bills. the bills got outgained on offense almost 1:4 and still won because of bird

this is the one game i haven't been nervous about !

Id say Jake Delhomme and Mark Sanchez won Buffalo those games. There is a reason those dudes throw INTs on the reg.......they blow.

im nervous about every NFL game, especially after watching oakland beat cincy, the chiefs beat the steelers, and the redskins almost beat the cowboys

he has picks on matt schaub(2), vince young(1),mark sanchez(2),jake delhomme(2),derek anderson(1) are you saying chad henne is significantly better than any of these guys except derek anderson? i would say he is equally capable of throwing as many picks as these guys. and btw if these guys throw ints on the reg, why dont we have as many picks on them?

All homer aside I'd say he's a better, SMARTER QB then all of the above mentioned.

Your 100% right!

How many throws have you seen Henne make that looked like the CB/S had the best chance at catching it? There's only two I can recall and 1 was the pick 6 at SD and the other was TB but even there the LB made a great catch!

Henne throws where we can catch it or nobody, his other picks are from non caught tipped balls our receivers should of had. Bryd has been a solid edition for BUFFALO but by no means is he someone to be afraid of. I'm more worried that this intern coach is actually throwing to TO the way they should have all year.

Well, considering Henne HIMSELF kept the ball out of Sharper's hands, I'm sure he can keep the ball out of Byrd's hands as well.

Agreed im more worried about TO catching a few. But after watching some tape he looks slow. I think our young guys have a good chance of keeping up with him. As for Byrd. he has been impresive but im not to worried. Henne has had lots of time in the pocket and he has been making great desicions. As long as he continues to play smart Byrd wont have the chance to make an INT.
