Maybe it is but that's just what yahoo thinks so who cares? lol If Miami goes into the playoffs then he gets it.

They all deserve to be mentioned as well. Sparano might've been the fifth choice. There might be poles elsewhere with one of them off and Tony on.

lets ee how the season ends dont forget if we go wild card nfl will award him with the coach of the year award defenitly..not yahoo...

That guy on Mike and Mike just said Sparano is his midseason Coach of the Year.

Let's see so far:

John Harbaugh

Ravens 5-11 last year, 5-3 so far.

Mike Smith

Falcons 4-12 last year, 5-3 so far.

Jim Zorn

Redskins 9-7 last year, 6-3 so far.

Jeff Fisher

Titans 10-6 last year, 8-0 so far.

Out of all these guys, I'd select Fisher so far, even over Sparano.

But since Sparano isn't even mentioned, 1-15 last year and 4-4 so far exceeds the 4 coaches already mentioned at this point in time. All these teams are having good years but the Titans are the most impressive so far.

Sparano is doing well, but remember, the media isn't going to be giving him credit for the dolphins turn around. All of that will be going to Parcells.

you can't argue against any of the choices. Sparano has been a blessing for us, but i'm pretty sure Falcons', Redskins' and Ravens' fans feel the same way about their HCs.

overall, i have to say this has to be one of the most impressive group of rookie HCs.

Jeff Fisher isn't a rookie HC...i think he's the longest tenured coach in the league with one team...
