Anyone concerned with what the Patsies are doing?

Up until that mugging when he remembered he actually was "Rick Spielman," he was performing uncharacteristically well.

Spielman must have had a flash back to his days of doing acid when he was our GM.

Very few of the Patriots 7th round picks make their roster, so it was more like a 2nd, 3rd and 4th for their first. We'll see how it turns out. I don't think people here would be pleased if Miami traded next year's 1st round pick for a 2nd and 7th this year and a 3rd and 4th next year.

If that was the price to move up, I wonder what it would have been to get in front of the bengals for Eifort. I would have gladly gave up our 2nd, one of our 3rds and a 4th for Eifort, even if you throw in next years second instead of the 3rd it'd still be a great deal. Vikings got the best receiver in the draft and only paid a 2, 3 and 4 for him. Well played by the Vikes.

I've been mentioning this topic a lot recently.

The Patriots are worshipped for how they "move in the draft". Even last night, as soon as NE traded out of the 1st, Mayock IMMEDIATELY fell over himself about NE's continued mastery at manufacturing picks.

Ok... who have they drafted to replace the Defense that won them SuperBowls?

When they lost to the Giants, who was their wide receivers (strength of the team)? FREE AGENTS. What was their weakness? DEFENSE because they hadn't replaced the guys they lost.

New England's drafts have been downright PATHETIC since the brunt of their Superbowl years. Maneuvering for the sake of maneuvering means NADA.

We haven't capitalized in those years because our drafts sucked hind parts, as well. The reason New England has won the division every year is BRADY and WELKER. Welker's gone. One piece remains.

And when Brady's gone, the Patriots will go back to their Minutemen uniform days.

Their ability to draft talent and replenish their ranks has been replaced with underpaying FAs to fill holes with anyone they can grab off the poop heap.

It's our fault for not capitalizing on their bumbling draft failures. No one elses.

NOW, we are finally acting like a real organization. There's a hurricane forming in the AFC East. Miami is about to regain control of this division.

PHINS UP!

No they arr competative every year because they have brady. If you look at there recent drafts its not very impressive

The two best tight ends in the league, Gronk and Hernandez, offensive line, Mayo, Spikes, Vareen, Ridley, Jones, Hightower.
Just curious. We been watching the same drafts?

Patriots don't draft high because they usually end each year with the best record in football, and yet, there it is.

Why does everyone over pay them though? This seems to be the issue.

Agreed. Maybe the reason got shredded w/ all the spygate footage.

Then play the Ravens or Gmen in the postseason and boom goes the dynamite.
