Anyone Else Going To Aj Feeley's Football Camp In Las Vegas?

Actually I've spent a couple of winters in Pennsylvania, but in the Scranton/Wilkes Barre area not Philly. A ski resort but I don't remember the name.

I concede it was a bit much after a while. I didn't mind the cold but I had no idea how to deal with all the snow. Just walking on the street or clearing snow off the car windshield was bad enough. Then I skidded and spun several revolutions in my Landcruiser and damn near tipped over and down a hill. That might have been it for me. I have no idea how it remained upright. Another time I was walking on a trail then fell into a hole, neck deep in snow.

That sucks. Sounds about right though. I can't imagine living in Minn or Wiss where their winters are ten times worse than they are here.
But I love Vegas. Except my in laws that live there...:fire:

I hear ya. Living in AZ you need to stay inside allday. Vegas is just a bad as phoenix. I should've stayed in Santa Maria, CA. The best weather there is. Not to Humid, not to hot, PERFECT. DAMN AZ!

Do you need kids to go? I'd love to be there...
LOL...

It's completely open to the public. They were going to hold it at UNLV, but I don't know what happened there. The web page now says its at a High School in the Vegas area. There will be lots of people there checking things out.

Is AJ attending? He needs the practice. One thing is for sure - he won't be talking about weight training - I'm not sure he has ever seen a weight room. Don't mean to blast on him but I'm just not sure he has credentials yet to get anyone excited about learning something from him.

Oh yeah, and Frerotte is a buff *ss quaterback and a proven winner.....not. Give it a rest. Lets just hope one of these guys are serviceable.

Damn, Ill be in Vegas over the July 4th weekend, maybe I can extend my trip a few days and meet a few players.

And how can anyone like that heat? I get mad when it hits the high 90s.

When it gets really hot and they have to practice they usually put on some mist machines and cool things down.

Where did you guys hear about this camp??

Zod put up a post on it. I looked into helping out to pay for my kids way, because we had just shelled out quite a bit for another Football camp with ASC football camps. AJ's camp was very inexpensive though so cost isnt a problem. I like the focus it puts on school and college planning. Never too early for that stuff. I'm sure it will be the type of camp that focuses on ball skills and other non contact aspects of the game.

Really? What have you accomplished that would qualify you to critic AJ and what he may or may not have to offer? Crawl back under your rock....your post is nonsense. AJ is in position to compete for a starting QB spot on an NFL team. That alone is more than most will ever accomplish on the field.

And your need to get personal with me is??? I'm a long time fan - probably longer than you - and that gives me the right to guess what - an OPINION! If you don't like it then don't post here! How do you know what I have accomplished? How do you know I am not a coach? You sound like a young kid with alot of emotion built up to jump on someone like that. Take a chill pill! My post stated a fact that AJ has not accomplished squat on the football field yet!! That is a fact! I hope he becomes an all pro for miami but right now he may not even be with them come next year. Good for you getting all excited about AJ Feeley and his football camp - I'm sure your kids will enjoy learning the fine art of throwing to the same team - most of the time.

The whole point is that your post was immature and out of place. I understand now after reading two of your posts why you don't get it. You basically decided to rip aJ because you think he's skinny and unproven in your opinion. Thanks for sharing your opinion on AJ's physical stature and how in your opinion you think he's too skinny and unproven to really do any good coaching up 7-12 year olds regarding weight training and general football skills. I'm sure you are right and the University of Oregon, the Philly Eagles, and the Miami Dolphins never had AJ in any kind of weight training program. Great insight. Great post!
:grouplaug :hmmm:
