Anyone else have a friend that likes the Jets?

We're fairly good friends, but lately.... it's borderline animosity between him and I. He's a huge **** talker and has been berating me (my blog, my facebook, my AIM away message) with quotes of "Dolphins suck" "Jets are number 1!!!" etc etc. He refuses to acknowledge their success in any way or shape and SWEARS he's not afraid of losing to them come week 17. I live in New England so there's always a lot of banter between me a Patriot fans every time they play, but between me and this Jets fan... HUGE bragging rights on the line. It's getting intense. Of course it'll all be forgotten once the season is over, but for the time being it's "No holds barred".

Anyone else have a friend that's an avid Jets fan?
 
Ive got a ton. Bunch of kids that have grown up in Fl their whole lives yet hail to all of the NY teams. Kinda sick about it. But then again, my Fiance is a Bills fan it could be worse.
 
just don't give his team any respect back. tell him favre's gunna throw 3 picks like he does every game (even though he doesn't) and that they have no chance because they'll just throw the game away like they always do in crunch time.
 
Send um up to N. Fla..... the gators up here are hungry. We can solve two problems at once and make the world a better place.
 
i used to work with another manager that is a jets fan....we never really got into it tho...in fact,just called me the other day to say he'd get me and up to 8 people in for free at Disney....lol...also used to work with another manager that is a Bills fan but we got along great,specially since we're both Italians...lol

I have allot of friends that are Jets fans and Patriot fans. Also have allot of coworkers who are jet fans.

My son always calls are one friend and we blast the dolphin fight song in the phone for him to hear.

Tough living in Jersey with all the jet fans but I love telling them how Chad has been so awesome for us.

South central Joizy with many friends/fans of other teams.

Nephew (Godson) = Jets fan
Best friend = 9ers fan
Boss's wife from northern NY = Bills fan.... (((keep mouth shut or.....etc.)))
Across the street neighbor and good friend = HUGE Jets fan. Unlike others. Very respectable and knowledgeable. ((We try not to kill each other))
Other cross the street neighbor = Raiders fan (Great guy ... Always trashing Al Davis AND Jamarcus Russell) Poor b a s t a r d ... LOL
Another neighbor down the street = Another 9ers fan. {a s s h o l e}

I can go on but...... Well... no need. :)

Censorship = SUCK
 
I refuse to associate myself with Jets fans. They say that you are judged by the company you keep. Well, I refuse to let my image take a hit by being friends with a lousy, stinking, disgusting, uncouthe, ill-mannered, foul smelling Jets fan.
 
Best friends - NyJets fan, Ne fan, Dal fan.

I have no idea why I'm friends with these losers, in the early to mid 90's my Dal buddy mocked me on a regular basis after superbowl wins. Then Brady came along and I haven't heard the end of it from my NE friend. My NYJ friend hasn't really been able to say squat except when they beat us during the regular season, he's not one of those annoying fans he always thinks their gonna suck.

The Saturday before week one my NE buddy called to let me know that their back and more determined then ever to win it all and the only thing I responded with was be careful because if Brady ever went down then so will their season, opps!!!!
 
Yep. I live in PA, which is, ironically, filled with tons of Jersey and New yorkers. So yeah, I've got some friends who are into the Hess truck team.

Never had any animosity though.
 
yea im from northern jersey too, alot of jets fans but id say more of my friends are giants fans tho
 
dude try having your coach a jets fan... a hardcore jets fan... i wear my dolphins hat and jersey frequently and let me tell you.... i run alot more then the rest of the team... i wonder why?
