Last year we started off slow with an 0-2 start. The year before I don't want to mention how badly we started and finished but the season is only 1 week in. I don't think everything should be doom and gloom already because we stumbled out of the gates. We have some things to work on but knowing Tony Sparano and the attitude of this team I really doubt will see a performance this flat for the rest of the season. Next game is against the Colts @ home... I have a feeling that the Dolphins are going to play lights out like they are capable of. I'm all for Penny being the Quarterback for this team. What happens if we put in Henne and he does terrible? Pat White for starting QB? Penny is a proven QB and he knows how to play with a weaker arm. We need to stop being the fairweather fans that we have the reputation of being and support our team and staff. I'm sure you all remember the Pat fans leaving in the 3rd quarter after we put a pounding on them last year. Those are the kind of fans we don't need to be.

I tell myself after any loss I wont go on finheaven for at least 2-3 days until all the people are done jumping off their bridges but sometimes I cant help myself. Whatever happens happens none of us on here are going to change the outcome of anything we all think we know what went wrong and how to fix it. The last game is simple though... Turnovers. Its not Pennington its not Long its not Ronnie not Ginn not Wilson or Bell. Without the 4 turnovers I think we all agree that game is different

I am not at all worried. We are rebuilding. We were rebuilding last year. We just had everything go right for us last year. We were not a division champ type of team but every ball bounced our way. We have all seen the difference of 13 turn overs all year and four in a game. Didnt work in the Ravens game or the Falcons game. Shoot it might not even work in a Lions game.

We all need to be realists here and understand that rebuilding is a process. Last year as Magical as it was, was just that. Last year and magical!

Once we grind out the kinks of week 1 and start winning again all the people who are saying our season is over already will come around. Nothing to worry about i have faith we will have a winning season.

First time poster, long time lurker.

I'm not concerned. Component-wise, aside from special teams, we looked better yesterday than we did early-season last year. Stupid mistakes cost us that game.

I feel comfortable with most of our team despite our loss, but I am worried about our OL and ST. They sucked last year and seem to be doing worse this year. People forget we had poor blocking from our base formation even when Smiley wasn't injured. I never thought Grove was much of an upgrade, but they better get it together next game.

I hear that. It's all very much 'We're doomed!' and '[Insert current starting QB's name] is a clown and needs to be benched' if there's a loss.

It's one game into a sixteen game season. Sure, it would be nice to have that one in the 'W' column and not the 'L' but it's done now. Hopefully Miami will learn from the game against Atlanta and improve partly because of it.

If Miami doesn't have a win in three or four weeks' time, that's when I'll get more concerned.

I'm worried but by no means am I panicking...yet.

Honestly, I really like our team.
Excellent against the run. I thought they brought great pressure early.

I think Smith and Davis will be great for us.

I still like our Oline. And I'm not worried about Long.
Long started rough last year too.
We have a new center, a lot going on in that first game on the road.
Takes time for the Oline to gel. They will get it done.

I'm only concerned about Pennington, but still overall, I feel really good about this team.

I love Sporano and I think the Dolphins are going to bring another super bowl to miami under his watch.

Hell I have waited 35 years for a superbowl victory whats another few lol. Im not worried or confident we shall see how it plays out. Overall I like the moves we have made but some of our moves like drafting Pat White in the second when a receiver or anything else was needed really bothers me.

I agree. Wasn't Rey Maualuga still on the table at this time?

I've got better things do than be worried about whether or not a group of millionaires (although they are my favorite millionaires) win a game.

No, he wasn't. I thought so too a while back and it's a common misconception for some reason, but Rey went 38th to the Bungles and we picked White 44th.

For reference, guys that were on the board at the time included Sintim and Barwin. Massaquoi was the next receiver taken.
