Anyone else upset we traded Booker?

i was pissed but i had the privilege to watch jalen parmelee for four years at UT(where i go to school) he is a MONSTER trust me he will make you love his game just as quick as booker did

I'm not.

In a perfect world we have Ronnie and Ricky healthy and it would be hard to justify getting him too many touches. In an imperfect world, either or both are not available and I don't feel he could carry the load for us.

I look at it as we got a starting TE and ILB for a 3rd down back who was a luxury. I can't be upset about that.

i was upset for about 5 minutes, mostly for getting poor value. then i realized he doesn't fit our power running game system. So oh well, he was good and exciting to watch but he wasn't great. And considering the lack of excitement we had on offense last year, its no wonder a lot of people were over-enjoying what he was doing for us.

Not as upset as I am with all these posts complaining about it. Geez, it was 48 hours ago, give it up already. He is gone. If we werent the least talented team in the history of our beloved franchise last year, you probably wouldnt care so much about a role player/third down back.

i guess i was dissapointed for a second and then i realized that he didnt do much for us this past season. I mean he dropped the ball alot and was easily replaced with someone better....Ernest Wilford

:sidelol:

(you were joking, right?)

i liked lorenzo when we picked him and i liked him once he got on the field. he was one of the players i most enjoyed watching at last year's training camp. i'm not happy to see him go, but if sparano and the FO felt dealing him was in the best interest of the team, i'm not going to sit here and fault their decision making.

It's a topic for discussion which is what these boards are for, right? I don't spend every waking minute on here so I never saw all the threads you are supposedly speaking about. I truly apologize for wasting 2 minutes out of your day so you could complain about my post.

That's a good point. Where we are, we need more players and he was a bit of a luxury to have.

no i wasnt joking. Booker didnt have a good year last year when he was competing for thwe starting role with noone and not only does he drop the ball but he is slowwwww

Not really upset, but its probably better for him to move on anyways. Plus we need to get younger and faster and watch him have a pro bowl year heh.
