about the BLITZ!?

Did the Seahwks exploit a weakness on our offense? It seems they were blitzing quite often to get to Pennignton.

rest assure some of our remaining oppenonts will look at that game tape and try to blitz us often.

We better be ready and make some adjustments.

They kept running the same blitz. I kept yelling roll left, not right! He finally did and picked up a big 1st down. I think we have the coaches that can get that fixed....hopefully.

We will get adjusted to it . . . they seemed to do it to try and get us in 3rd and long situations . . . was a good game plan, and it had us flustered . . . would have been a long day for Beck and possibly Henne also . . . Chad wasn't great like normal but we wouldn't have won this game without him (tho he had the pick six also)

I think most teams felt that if they stopped the running game they would stop us.

Now theylre realizing that our pasing game is for real and our Running game is struggling. Today it showed that it is different than last year, this time, if you stop our pass you may be able to stop us.

We really need to get the running game going!

i'm not surprised and maybe a little worried.... the main ingredient of success for pennington is spreading the ball around. He has time and takes it to look around 2 or 3 receivers and then throw it, if you stand back there he'll pick you appart but if you blitz him he won't have time to explore all his options, throw it to the first guy he sees and with his questionnable arm strenght, you see what happens ... (referring to the two pick six he threw this year...notice how they happened against a blitz and chad looked at the first guy all along)

it's about time we see a double move like a stop and go, cornerbacks will be so hungry for the ball and will anticipate a 5 or 8 yard hook, we haven't seen this so far and i think it could be a very nice adjustment, especially on blitzing situations...

Jake Long played his worst game today.
But he made some very nice blocks.
The tackles need to get their reads down.
The good thing is on the Blitz's we were not being overpowered it was just confusion

RG was terrible. Seemed to me they were stunting towards her every time.

we really need to do something about our 3rd downs if it's more than 5 yds were done

Holmgren outcoached TS today. He saw a weakness and went after it. We got lucky to escape with a win. That gut blitz was killing us. Carey kicked out with the DE and, Alleman dropped inside, freeing the LB for the blitz. AGain and again and, again.

our team has holes, heck we were 1-15 last year and have had just one offseason, so this season is all about the coaching staff getting all they can out of what we have, all the games are going to be tough, no gimmies for us

they made the adjustments when we where 0-2.it is called the wildcat.this issue was always here, and always will be.how many times did the announcer say we are the worst in the nfl ,on 3rd and 6.i just felt like yelling at the tv -shut up.i must say that i have been stunned that other teams havent done this every game. i guess some teams just dont have the packages to attack the line, and we are playing most of them this year.

Yeah its real frustrating knowing when we have a 3rd and long that we are probably not gonna get it. I mean im always confident during Dolphins games, but lately it seems we just cant convert third and longs. I hope they really work on that this week.

Getting a rush on Pennington is cause for disaster. The guy forgets what kind of arm he has when he gets flustered and tries to throw passes as if he were Manning or Brady. There is no such thing as an easy win for the 2008 Miami Dolphins. Seattle is a very poor team this year....

Miami will have to bring their "A" games every week with an "easy" schedule to go .500 from here on out.
