It's easy to overlook things when you win but our defense almost blew our last 2 games. Keep on mind that you keep on doing that and it'll come back and get you. First, it seems as everytime we score the defense play worse. It was a great win yesterday and I'm happy for it butI'm a little worry that our defense don't know how to play with a lead. Not trying to spoil the fun but had NE scored a TD at the end(they had 4 chances)everyone would be talking about how our defense blew the game. Also keep on mind that NE was missing their best goal line weapon. We have work to do guys.

But you also have to take into consideration injuries in the secondary. Patterson was a big loss, then Grimes and Carroll.

But they didn't score a TD, nor did the Steelers. Our D is top 10 if not 5 in the league. Nobody should be worried about the D.

Last week we gave up a bunch of yards and points. But Pittsburgh came up 12 yards short.
Same story this week except we held the Patriots scoring down. Patriots came up 14 yards short.

I agree that Patterson is a big loss and Grimes even bigger. I hope I'm worry about nothing.

We have a lot of really good players on defense and should be playing a lot better on that side of the ball. I am worried and hope we bring in a new D coordinator next year as we should be dominating teams and have only dominated a pretty weak Jets team so far....

You think our defense is top 5?

Ozzy rules!!

Ten for sure if not top 5. Yes. We are top ten in opponents points per game, touchdowns per game, redzone TD %, interceptions, and sacks.

Get rid of Coyle? Are you nuts? We beat the Pats with our last string DBs. We have an excellent D.

Defense is fine . . . this is a scoring league and when you play big time QB's in December you can expect to give up points and yards. We just have to do our job on offense by scoring more points and try to avoid too many 3 and outs that keeps the defense on the field for long periods of time.

Coyle has been stellar. Our Defensive backs, especially at CB, are playing at levels we haven't seen since Surtain and Madison.

If our LB's didn't seem so clueless at times, we'd be even better.

Kevin Coyle knows DBs above all else, look what he did to Carroll and Wilson. completely better players since he got here, I believe he can make Will Davis and Jamar Taylor studs. our defense is fine, brady passed the ball 55 times with our top 3 corners out. of course he got yards

What I worry about is high level draft picks being burned on DBs that either cannot see the field or when they do see the field, instantly become a liability.

Exactly. Giving Davis and Taylor time under him will only lead to breakout players in a year or two. That's the MO here, draft players with huge upside and coach them up. A couple of years later they become studs.

Goes to show you how important Paul Soliai is.

They ran right down our throats yesterday.

Question, Why isn't Jordan unleashed against Brady?

I've been worried about our D every since the Falcon game when they ran up and down the field against us with there 2-3rd running backs......I don't worry as much now because our offense is playing better, our D makes a team run 12-15 plays and then makes them kick a FG, the Pats were in the red zone 4 times and walked away with one TD, our offense can live with that......we don't give up the big play, it sucks watching it but it worked the last few weeks.....its the type of Defense that can beat the Bronco's and Chiefs

Defense is a huge concern for me but most of that concern has to do with the playoffs and since I'm talking about the Phins in the playoffs, i'm surprised and happier than hell
