Worried about all the hype of Ricky coming back this week? I think he has alot of expectations his first game back after being out a year. I dont doubt his ability, but I would think he is going to need some time to come around. In one instance all the hype could be good cause then Tampa would focus more attention on Ricky and leave less emphasis on other players. I do trust that Saban will use him wisely his first game back. But I am leary of Phin Phans expecting too much from him just because he is a proven back. Your thoughts.

Not really, because we also have Brown who is starting to come along. :)

I think he'll be back to what he once was. Unlike the last time he played, he doesn't have to run the ball 30 times all by himself. That scares me.

im kinda glad ricky is bringing this attention to the dolphins, so the game will be shown in more places nationally, more people will pay attentoin to it, more highlights, etc... because i figure ricky wont have a huge performance, but ronnie will and everyone will be like, damn didn't realize brown was so good...

Now we're going to the Super Bowl, baby!!!!!

j/k

But I'm sure plenty of people here will think that now.

I think we'll be a more complex team when :ricky: is on the field. We'll keep the D on their toes. I expect Ricky to play a signifigant role on Sunday, but I don't think he'll be a game-breaker. I love the fact that we'll have two serviceable backs that can keep each other fresh for the remainder of the season.

But what do I know? Maybe we'll blow the doors off the Cadillac!

i dont have any expectations for ricky.......anything he gives is a bonus...........i dont know when i will lose the "how long will he be here mentality".....but i love that he is back.........i feel like we are playing with the houses money (and how long does that last?)

My expectations are this....

Ricky will eventually be getting the bulk of the carries over Brown. There's no way around it because Ricky is twice the RB Brown is at this stage IMO...

If Saban wants to make this offense as good as it can be, Ricky needs to be a big part of it. I'm very excited for Ricky this year, and there's no reason to think he wont make our team more dangerous. The duo of Ricky / Ronnie should be among the most deangerous in the NFL IMO. We just need to make good use of them....

PHINZ RULE!!!
