Anyone going to the Fins/Titans game?

Well I finally get to go to a Dolphins home game this season and it will be the December 24th game against the Titans. I was wondering if anyone was going and if anyone could tell me some nice spots to check out in Miami? I have only driven through it when I went to Key West, but didn't get a chance to stop and look around. I am probably also going down by myself since it's hard for me to recruit a friend to go with me since it's the Christmas. The girlfriend can't go because of her parents, so I will go down there by myself and still have an awesome time because I finally get to see my Fins in person at their home stadium. It will feel great to finally cheer on the Dolphins and not getting cursed at or alcoholic beverages thrown at me :D
 
I will be at this game with my father and brother. It will be my fourth Miami Dolphins football game. I can't recommend anything cool to check out in Miami, but I can recommend that you show up early to the game. It is really cool to get there early and have the stadium to yourself. You get to watch the players warm-up without having to deal with the crowds. Once the game begins though, get ready for swearing and the chance of getting hit by flying objects.

I watched the Dolphins play the Eagles (Monday Night), Titans (Opening Day 2004), Broncos (Opening Day 2005) and then this one will be the Titans again. The MNF Eagles game was BY FAR the worse experience at a football game ever. Eagles fans are criminals. And I mean that in the worse possible way. Don't think for one second that they are a good example of "great fans". They are the worst fans on the planet. Three brawls broke out around us. People were getting hauled away to jail left and right. Clayton & Duper were getting recognized that night at halftime and the Eagles fans booed the whole ceremony and disrespected two great receivers. I'm glad they are having problems with TO this year. I hope he leaves and the Eagles bomb.

But that was the worst possible scenerio. The other two games I have been too were on Sunday afternoon,and they were great! Lots of fun! Especially the Broncos game, because Miami beat them up bad. Remember, opening day this year. Ahh, those were the days.
 
I will be there too, have been going to miami for 4 years now, and you are right about the philly fans, i was at that game as well
 
Yeah I am still cherishing that opening day win. Makes me feel great seeing that 2 of the better teams in the league (Denver and Carolina) have half of their losses to us lol.
 
good luck getting anyone to tell you where to go or what to do in Miami on here. I am going to the New England game and staying for a week and cant get any feedback. Maybe its because Im Canadian lol! I just hope we can beat the patsies this week. Miami owns them at home. Go Dolphins!
 
Yeah we're definitely gonna take the Pats.. It's a must win for the Fins and if we can beat them at home when they go 14-2, then we should be able to take them this season.
 
If you are staying in South Beach, you will be surrounded by everything you need... All you have to do is walk around and you will find trouble, um, I mean fun...

Downtown FTL is always good to, or the beach area of FTL... But it will be cooler in December so... Not so much to "see"! :rofl3:

Make sure you stop by Camry Zone East 12 and check out the Dol-Van... Stop by for a beer, or 2!
 
Will you have a car when in Miami?? Where are you staying??

My favorites are: South Beach, Bayside, Downtown Fort Lauderdale, and Lincoln Road (in South Beach) or Sawgrass Mills (in Sunrise) for shopping
 
and Sawgrass has a few good sports stores for all your Dolfan needs...or just for general browsing. On a side note, I bought a hurricanes jersey at the Marshall's there for $20 (Nike)
