If the team wants to trade Beck, I would look too see if a Beck for LB Bobby Carpenter trade is feasible. If not that, then get on the horn with San Fransisco and see if Martz still has that same obsession with Beck that he did back in Detroit. Maybe convince SF to give up a 5th round pick?

I was a Beck supporter due to him being a Dolphin, but after seeing him play as timid as a church mouse, I was left wishing we didnt draft him. Not comparing him to any other qb's on the roster, but he hasn't done much, nor has he had the floor long enough to prove he is good in this league. I say we let him play in a preseason game for at least a whole half and see if he can manage to become a good back up before we sever ties. Excuse my run on sentence fellows.

Unless a QB from another team gets hurt I am afraid we can't trade either. I am starting to agree with some on these boards that we will end up with a Simms or a Griese or someone like that for a 3rd string veteran. I think that Beck and McCown are both leaving. we'll see though.

I dont think Beck holds any trade value whatsoever due to the fact he has accomplished nothing so far. Good luck getting anything for him.

I always kind of thought that Cameron could talk Ozzie Newsome into giving up a pick of some kind for the man he loves, but I forgot they took Flacco in this past draft. So why would the Ravens want to take snaps away from him, Smith and anyone else already there?
