Anyone hear what Dan had to say on the pregame show today?

They asked if Joe Flacco was the best rookie QB of all time and Dan answered "He's #3 because I got #1 and #2 wrapped up"

I had a big *** smile after hearing that. Dan is such a badass.
 
Gotta love it!! Flacco looks really good, but he doesn't have to carry his team. Dan had to do everything for this team...from the time he stepped in as a rookie until the 62-7 beat down.
 
I lost a little respect for Dan when he picked the Jets to beat us the last week of the season. He is always picking against us and I dont get it!

I respect him more for saying it. He said he would love to see us win, but fealt the Jets would. You would be bashing Testaverde if he was on there saying the Jets would win, if it was just because he was a Jet. I respect sports announcers who are unbiased on reporting regardless of personal feelings.

I for one, like a little ****iness, or swagger, if you will. Dan has it, Phil Rivers has it, Big Ben also. That type of personality is infectious and pumps you up when the going gets tough.

Look at ravens D, swarming, hard hitting and they'll tell you they're gonna smack you in the mouth... then do it. I love it and we need more of that.

He's right 1 and 2 are wrapped up--they will both be on the same field next week.
 
Dan is just speaking the truth unlike the black guy with the long face sitting next to him, who thinks he was the best tight end ever, but Ditka and several others would tell him to GTF out of here!!!!!
 
i could be the QB for the ravens and we could be at the same point that they are. im only 15. they have the number 2 defense and number 1 in forcing turnovers. all i have to do is hand the ball off on first and second down and complete a 1-5 yard pass on 3rd down and not turn the ball over. and guess what, we would be in the championship game. screw flacco. dan is the man!

I disagree.;)

Kyle Boller, and Troy Smith are both better than you, and Joe Flacco is better than them.

Why?

Because of the three he can control the ball, and the game the best.

With our defense he doesn't have to win. All he has to do is not lose.
Sounds simple... until your at the point he's at now, playing the best of the best in the NFL... and still playing well, with a cool head, and not letting them rattle him.

The Steelers went 15-1 and the Ravens are heading to the championship game. I like Flacco a lot, but that D is the reason they are where they are.

For pure QB ability, Marino blows both of them out of the water. Hell, Flacco wasn't even the best rookie QB this season.
