Anyone Know about StubHub.com??

does anyone know anything about this ticket purchasing site?

I just purchased tickets from them for the first time for the Jets game. And I am not gunna lie, it seemed pretty shady... Apparently I have to pick up the tickets at a hotel close to the stadium?

Has anyone ever used StubHub.com? and maybe have some imput about it?

I USED TICKETSNOW I BELIEVE BEFORE, NOT STUBHUB. I DON'T THINK I WOULD PICK THEM UP AT A HOTEL THOUGH....WHY CAN'T THEY OVERNIGHT THEM?

My girlfriend used them for tickets to the Oakland game. She seemed to have no problem with them other than that they seemed kind of pricey. I think the tickets were just mailed to her though. I don't know about the picking up at a nearby hotel part. I do know that Dan Patrick of ESPN endorses the site. I am not sure what that means other than it leads me to believe it is a reputable site.

I just used Stub hub to buy my Dolphin/Charger tickets. Other than a small fee they attached, everything was fine. You shouldn't have to pick them up though. That does seemed kinda shady.

Ive used stubhub a handful of times and never had a problem with them... I've also had a similar situation dealing with a pickup location before the game. I had bought tickets to the FSU Vs. UM game the night before the game so it was too late for them to ship, I just simply met the person selling them at a nearby bar parking lot (lol) and got the tickets. I had his email address and phone number so I guess its kind of a risk but you never know.

I don't believe stubhub actually holds the tickets. I think they just link the seller and the buyer, so that's probably why you have to go to this hotel and pick up the tickets. We used it for the bills/phins game and got good tickets for a good price. Will definitely use again.

Ive used them 2x before. No problems. Like someone else said, they basically just link buyer + seller.

i had a situation where the seller had them on the site but never removed them when they sold it somewhere else, so stubhub contacted me, told me that they werent available anymore and bot me another set of tickets, same price....even gave me the shipping for free for it...

i use another site now tho, 2guystickets

If you paid with credit card then it shouldnt be a big deal, just cancel the payment if they rip you.
