Looks like 30 degrees and light snow for the game. Is it a myth that we can't play in cold weather? What's our winning percentage in bad weather?

Well we know Mike Wallace can play in the cold... Hopefully he'll have 2 Td's to help us win...

Balls shrink in the cold.

Sherman has no balls.

It's a wash really.

They had it on the Finsiders yesterday. I think they said under Philbin, we are 2-2 (?).

The only cold weather games that I'm aware of under Philbin were both losses last year vs NE 28-0 (temp 28) and Buffalo 19-14 (temp 35)
I don't see any cold weather games this year except for Pittsburgh on Sunday and most likely Buffalo in 2 weeks.

In both of those games last year our run game was shutdown 60 yards vs Buffalo and 47 yards vs New England.
And the passing game wasn't very good either. We only had 1 passing TD in 2 games and 0 rushing TD's
And we turned the ball over 5 times and took it away none.

So, I would say to this point we suck playing when it is cold. Not sure where they are getting the 2 wins.
Chance to change that impression on Sunday in Pittsburgh in the cold.

I was at the pre christmas week game at Kansas City when Pennington helped us beat the Chiefs on the road to our AFC East Crown. It was the coldest game on record for the Dolphins and second coldest ever for Arrowhead. this was the game when we fell in love with Thigpen.

I'm from upstate ny and also went to the Dolphins 34-44 loss to the Jills in the snow. That Chiefs game was brutal. The wind and frost was a Bit%&. Never in my life did I have a beer freeze right in front of me.

I will be at the Steelers game. Section 207 row k seat 5.

Yes it will be cold, and it will be winnable. I wish we had a big back to carry the load. Lets get out of town with a win!

Historically Miami was not great in the cold or December.
So much has changed over the years. Hard to say. I see some stats on "since Philbin" above, not sure if it is a relevant indicator.
Better running game would help for sure.

We can win.

31 is not cold, especially when playing football...

I would bet we've lost 95% of our games that we played in rain. We always look like crap when playing in a rain storm. Our lack of a running game is troubling in freezing weather. Our offense is not built for cold weather.

C'mon people. 30 degrees is cold? Look how much **** these players wear. I understand single digits but Jesus, 30 degrees isn't all that bad.

Yup! if your cold playing football in 30-35 weather, your obviously not working hard enough...
