SCRIMMAGE WITH DOLPHINS: The Miami Dolphins will travel to Nashville for the second consecutive year, participating in three joint practice sessions and a scrimmage with the Titans on August 1-2. The first of two practices will take place on Friday morning and conclude in the afternoon at Baptist Sports Park. The scrimmage will be held at The Coliseum on Saturday, August 2 at 3:00 p.m. The Dolphins are led by fourth-year RB Ricky Williams, who led the NFL in rushing (1,853 yards) and ranked tied for first in the league in rushing touchdowns (16), QB Jay Fielder (179 of 292 passes for 2,024 yds/14 TDs) and WR Chris Chambers (52 receptions, 734 yds/3TDs). DE Jason Taylor led the NFL in sacks (18.5 sacks) and linebackers Zach Thomas and Junior Seau, who was acquired in the offseason from San Diego, are two of the best in the league at their respective positions. Cornerbacks Sam Madison (3 int.), Patrick Surtain (6 int.) and Jamar Fletcher join FS Brock Marion (5 int.) to arguably form the best secondary in the NFL. Training camp credentials will be used for media admission to the scrimmage, and the press box will be open. The two Friday practices with the Dolphins are free and open to the public. Tickets for the Saturday scrimmage at The Coliseum are currently on sale ($10/each) at the Coliseum box office and through Ticketmaster locations.
