I know with this whole no limit cap going on for the future of the nfl, that means that the poor teams are going to be suckin. Now I know that jones from dallas and davis from oakland are a couple of the richest but where does huizenga (sp?) stand?

Top 5.

Wayne is a great owner that is always willing to spend.

No they arent the richest, the richest is the guy from Seattle, I cant recall the next two guys, but I remember Wayne is the 4th.

Wayne has it and he is willing to spend it.

Its markets like Green Bay and Indy (relatively small), among others, that will suffer.

Buying a title is NOT how I want this to go down. It's only sweeter if it is an even playing field.

Yeah, it'd be like being a Yankee fan...the league will be much less fun to follow in general if it goes uncapped. All you hear about in relation to the NFL is parity parity parity. Well, parity will be gun without the cap and they will take a big hit for it. Maybe I'll become a soccer fan.

well if we go uncapped and we got one of the richest owners were gonna be an elite team, so why r u upset?

I dont hink you understand what uncapped means. yea we might have on of the top 10 richest owners but that doesnt mean he will be willing to pay everyone a ridiculous ammount of money per year to play. Now Im not saying that anyone on our team will be like that but you never know. all it will take is one guy and the rest will follow. Also the only reason we would be an elite team is because something like 70% of the nfl arent rich enough to pay the big bucks and all they will be able to afford are the guys who are just happy to be playing in the nfl. That means third stringers and practice squad guys. not to much talent there. can you say a@# whooping every week. thats just not fun to watch after awhile. IMO

I'm pretty sure he is the 3rd richest. He might be the 2nd richest now, since Preston Robert Tisch died. The Seahawks owner is the 7th richest man in the world, though, and could buy pretty much all of the NFL franchises.

I don't think there is such a thing as "buying a title". If that were the case, the Yankees would be World Series Champs every year. You still have to produce on the field.

I am in agreement with you on this BUT by the same token the NFL maybe has to many teams relying on the success of other teams to make ends meet for them. I don't want to watch watered down football either. Let the weak teams die on the vine and allow the successful teams to have larger roster size.
