AT LEAST! he's the only one that has shown in this 2 games that he deserves to be a fin. ronnie did good this game and chris just made the TD but didn't play too well in week 1.

He's too small. He's fine as the #3 WR. Working in the slot, against LB and safeties, is one of the main reasons that he succeeds. Put him in against a top CB, and you'd see the end of Wes Welker's effectiveness.

You sir, are correct.

As has been said before, put him against a top CB and he gets shut down. He's the perfect slot receiver.

I thanks the Football gods for Texas Tech. Welker and Thomas are the great white hopes for our team. I agree Welker #2. He gives me hope still for this season.

when u see him on field u know that he can make the play, u get hope; with all others.. u don't get that feeling.. at least i'd like too see games haveing hope than loosing to bills with no hope at all till he appears on the field

Welker has done great in the slot, but he faces linebackers and 3rd string corners who are having difficulty staying with him.

too small?

The man makes plays whenever he is on the field full stop. If you watch the film you'll see that whenever he's in, it's often against a nickle or dime coverage and guess what? He makes plays. They also often shift him in motion to try and free up Chambers and Booker, so he often does make plays against the defense's top corners. The man makes plays more consistently than any other dolphin on the team, wake up man, and look at production vs what you think his limitations should be based on measurables. A player like this is all about two things:

1. Things that you can't measure
2. Production. He performs and makes plays whenever he's on the field whether on special teams or as a receiver.

so, enough about he's too small, or whatever other weakness you percieve he has, that's just utter nonsense.

:fire:

zach is too small too.. we should get another 6-3 footer instead of him, and i don't care if wes plays in a position where height is more important than at LB... i just care for playing well, and wes surely does.

Too small for a number 2.

Having witnessed the Marks brothers (Duper and Clayton) in action years ago as well as the "Smurfs" in Washington back in the day. I find it hard to agree with this assesment. It depends on the playcalling and the skill of your qb not the size of the receiver.

Nah. Welker is perfect in the slot. You are wanting to exhaust a good thing. Miami needs some OTHER PLAYERS to step up.
