Looking at this years QB draft class, I would rather have Chad Henne than any of the other QBs in this class. Stafford and Sanchez came out early and have accuracy problems, shown by completion percentages less than 60%. Its documented that junior QBs with low completion percentages dont do well in the NFL, i.e. Alex Smith. Josh Freeman is raw and not much of a natural talent, so im not sure about him, and the rest of the qbs just arent that good. Henne was a starter at michagan for 4 years, had a high completon percentage, and did well in all of his bowl games. He always had a good ratio of TDs to Int and I think he will be more succesful in the NFL than anyone in this class. You never know i guess, what do you think?

Definitely. I don't see any quarterback in this year's draft that I believe will have a better career then Chad Henne. IMO.

i think stafford is better but we really havent seen any of them in the NFL yet so you never know.

If you judge them by college, what did you seen in Henne? not much. He played bad in a good offense.

Who knows? If i remember correctly their are quite a few fans who were convinced John Beck was better then Matt Ryan this time last year, and look how that ended.

I was actually thinking about this the other day. If Henne was in this year's draft, he could easily be the top rated QB.

I think we got a steal in the late 2nd round last year.

I was one of those who gave support to the Beck over Ryan argument, but oh well. As someone else said we will know a little more in 2012. At that point we will know where Henne stands against those 2 along with Ryan and Flacco!

QB is by far the hardest college position to evalauate as a NFL prospect. Many colleges run a spread formation rather than a pro set which is a disadvantage for a college QB IMO. Matt Ryan came into the NFL playing multiple years in pro set out of Boston College and I think that really helped ease his transition, but it didn't hurt to have Michael "the Burner" Turner to hand the ball off to.

I really think Henne will have success in the NFL. He is big, strong, has a rocket arm and more importantly seems poised every play. That is something that Beck doesn't have and IMO that was from being played in a very bad situation as a rookie. Henne has been very lucky that he can learn from a very smart QB in Pennington. As to whether Henne was a better prospect than Sanchez and Safford, I don't think so, but he isn't very far behind. And it doesn't matter how highly you are rated coming out of college, it matters what you do on Sundays and not what you did on Saturdays, so we won't know the answer to your questions for at least another few years.

Stafford is the best QB to come out since Peyton Manning IMO...Henne couldn't hold a stick to Stafford.....and Im not just saying that because imma DAWG to Death.....it's just the truth.

^I've never seen someone type so clearly while being high

The answer is yes, Henne is as good or better than any QB available in this years draft. I think Stafford can make all the throws, and has the potential to be one of the greatest ever if he can improve greatly on his consistancy in throws. I think in order to do this he must get much better at his mechanics, pocket presence, and his overall skill in the rest of the areas. Every now and then you will see this kid make a throw that drops your jaw at its perfection in velocity, tragectory, and placement. Real world class----almost Dan like. But, he has A LOT of flaws that he needs to improve to make those plays consistantly.

So yea Henne is as good and IMHO better than everyone else in this draft.

Funny to think how many suggested last years QB draft was weak when myself and a few others told them Ryan was the best in a long time. Last years draft was weak...........RRRRRRIGHT! :err:
