Outside of an incident... The fins shipped Marshall in a plan to possibly package our second and third(s) to get back into the first round after using the 8th on best available? This would give us more flexibility with those first more reliable picks...

Thoughts?

The standard over the past few drafts has been to get back into the first, you have to give up a first for the following season.

Time to accept we got hosed. We traded a player for character flaws that we knew about before we aquired him. Had Miami only waited until after the big name Free Agent WR's were all off the board, Marshall's value would have been much higher.

If they had waited until after the news broke they would have been lucky to have gotten a used sandwich bag and a box of paperclips.

Here ya but we have an early second 43 I believe and now 2 thirds this year, that seems doable for teams that are drafting later and want to follow what the pats have done the past couple drafts...just a thought to get a couple higher quality talents versus having the ability stronger teams do to play with position because they have less holes to fill

IMO I think they just traded Marshall to the first thing they were offered from the Bears, I'd like for them to trade back up into the first but if it costs next years 1sts I'm gonna say no.

My wild theory is that we're stockpiling all these picks to try to trade up for Luck.

A man can dream, right?

Personally I would rather consider trading our 2nd for a future 1st. Then use one of the 3rd to move back into the 2nd. Definately not easy but it happens. I wanna stay at 8. I want some top talent. BPA at 8!

If the opportunity to trade down in the first round is there, so that Miami can pick up a 2nd round pick this year or a 1st next year, you pull the trigger. Even if Blackmon is there.

Umm no. Marshall ruined any value he had by consistantly being a police magnet

Miami has been trading down and picking lineman. I want a game changer that can score some points or create turnovers.

If Blackmon is there we take him. We need Top talent and higher your pick better your chances. With no Marshall, even Richardson is more of a possibility. We need playmakers quick!
