in the grand whole of those homeless, on welfare, etc, 98% dont deserve it. they either just dont want to work or learn, would rather live off crime and welfare and or panhandling. many have family and or friends but have burned their bridges leetching and or steeling from them or ruining their families lives with their addictions.

their is a small percentage of those homeless/welfare dependant who TRUELLY are destitute and DESERVE help. many people dont have family, or a bunch of friends to lean on should things go bad. and when they do, they have no choice. many of that percentage have mental issues and or physically challenged and really need to be off the street. the government DOES need to address that.

but the scum running the street, bad mouthing everything america, occupying wall street, wearing acorn shirts with little yes we can rainbow buttons DONT DESERVE ANYTHING FROM ANYONE AND NEED TO FACE THE LIFE THEY THEM SELVES CHOSE!!!!

People like you who get to enjoy the fruits of capitalism don't get it. Not everyone has access to the same education, not everyone has connections. Do you really think everyone in America could work if they wanted to? Where are the jobs? ( I don't mean working for peanuts basically as a slave) YOu don't understand how capitalism works do you? The nature of the beast, dictates there will be haves and have nots, this isn't a damn communist country. If you want everyone to be the same , all poor or all rich then got to China( theyre mostly going to be all poor) In this capitalist country it's for us educated people to realize we benefit by stepping on the less fortunate. Hey I've worked in some of the worst schools in South Florida, there are a whole crop of kids coming out that can't read, write, or do basic math. Who's fault is that? The kids right? Good luck getting them a job!

I sympathize with them to an extent, but they've turned a local post office foyer into a human litterbox. If they freeze in the street, some next of kin will sue the city for a bazillion dollars. So they open up the foyers/lobbies of some of the local government buildings and it comes back to bite them.

Not a fan of them treating Sun Life Stadium like it was the Superdome during Katrina.

How does somebody freeze to death in Florida?
